Conversations with Jeremiah Child

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeremiah Child.

Hi Jeremiah, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I established my musical journey in 2015 with the Throwback Tribe Agency LLC. I knew it was time to take my love of recording arts to a higher level. I creatively blended storytelling, emotion and raw energy into a number of songs for listeners and audiences alike.
After years of performing in local venues, festivals , and hosting events , it was finally time to debut more major projects. My debut album , Safe Word , is now available on all streaming services worldwide.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
My biggest struggles as a musician would be timing and the multiple passings of family members. You must learn that there is no perfect or right time to release a project. Don’t allow the anxiety and worrysome thoughts to crowd your head. The more you think for too long — the lesser confidence you have in yourself as to actually debuting your project.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Besides being a performance artist, I also host events & am an active member of Throwback Tribe Agency LLC. We specialize in searching for the best artists of all genres to headline or take the stage at our events. We’ve given multiple musicians their debut in many locations ranging from Pop, Rock , Hip-hop, & Acoustics etc.

I’m proud of the premiere artists that we’ve had on our shows throughout the years. I’ve managed to make friends and connections with my team that’ll last a lifetime. We tend to treat the performers as family rather than just a filler on a show. We take the time out to actually listen to our artists and provide the best management & venue locations we can.

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
I can write music of any genre and truly enjoy it. My music knowledge is usually a jaw dropper when others learn what types of music I know best.
