Today we’d like to introduce you to Za’Breah Hendon & Simone Jackson.
Hi Za’Breah & Simone, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Bougie Babes University started as a passion project rooted in my desire to empower women—especially those who wanted more out of life but didn’t know where to start. I’ve always believed in combining elegance with ambition, so I created a space that felt both aspirational and relatable. What began as a simple concept has now grown into a full reality TV show featuring over 10 bold, beautiful, and driven women.
Of course, bringing together that many strong personalities comes with its challenges. There’s bound to be drama, misunderstandings, and moments of tension—but that’s also where growth happens. Bougie Babes University isn’t just about leveling up externally—it’s about learning how to navigate relationships, hold each other accountable, and rise above the chaos with grace. At the end of the day, it’s about sisterhood, transformation, and showing the world that bougie babes can be both classy and powerful.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Has it been a smooth road? Definitely not—but every bump along the way has built character and resilience. Building Bougie Babes University from the ground up meant doing things our own way. We dont have a huge network or major backing—we built our own team, cast our own girls, and got to work.
But in the middle of filming, we hit major setbacks. We lost cast members, production crew, and even security. People we trusted and counted on walked away or simply didn’t show up for us. As the CEO, I had to step up in ways I never imagined—driving girls to set, filming scenes on my phone just to make sure we got the footage, and troubleshooting technical issues on the fly. A camera we invested in turned out to be a complete fail, and we were left filming with only one decent camera for the entire show.
It was exhausting, emotional, and at times, overwhelming. But even through the chaos, we kept pushing forward—because I knew the vision was bigger than the setbacks. And looking back, those hard moments are what made Bougie Babes University what it is today: raw, real, and unstoppable.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I wear a lot of hats, and I embrace every one of them with pride. My name is Za’Breah, and I’m one of the CEOs of Bougie Babes University, alongside my amazing business partner Samone. Together, we created this platform not just as a reality TV show, but as a space where women can grow, glow, and level up in every aspect of life.
Outside of BBU , I’m a mom first—that role grounds me and fuels everything I do. I’m also a licensed nail tech, baker, hairstylist, model, and I even throw my own fashion shows. I love getting hands-on with DIY projects and turning ideas into something real. I’m especially known for modeling and nails, but I bring the same passion and creativity to everything I touch.
Samone is a powerhouse in her own right. She’s a mother of two, a model, and the owner of her own clothing boutique. She brings a bold, stylish energy to the brand and has a true eye for fashion and business. Her dedication to creating her own lane and building something meaningful is inspiring, and her presence in BBU brings a perfect balance of beauty, brains, and business savvy.
What I’m most proud of is the woman I’ve become and the mother I am today. And as a duo, Samone and I have pushed through every obstacle, supported each other through the ups and downs, and turned our vision into a movement. What sets us apart is simple: we lead with passion, we hustle with heart, and we never give up.
