Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
We are Shine N Drive Auto Detailing. Our business started in mid-late 2024, when both of us, Kevin Gabriel & Isaiah Rice, friends of over two years joined together to create a side business of passive income and make a dream, a reality. Kevin comes from a car wash background and so does Isaiah, both of us being in the car wash industry for over nine years and detailing about just as long for friends and family. We decided to start a detailing business to make extra money on the side of our full time job with the dream of making it a full time career in the future, whether that’s a few years down the road or ten years. We came up with the name in 2024 and officially launched our business officially in October of 2024. We are where we are today by the help of friends, family, advertisement, referrals and most importantly hard work. Running a business takes time, hard work and if you’re a business owner you must have a passion for what you do. We love turning cars that look like they’re on their last life to looking better than they did brand new. We offer services from interior detailing to exterior detailing and full detailing. On top of that, we also offer ceramic coatings and paint correction.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I would say it has been a smooth road with the help of many people. We started by brainstorming what we were going to name our business to making brochures, passing out business cards and introducing ourselves to many local businesses and so much more. We cannot thank all the people enough that have helped us to where we are today. It was pretty easy to get the word out over social media and word of mouth to countless number of people.

Any big plans?
Right now we are continuing to build a foundation of customers and get our word out even more. We have plans to get a van or two for our mobile services rather than using our own personal cars, if this takes off even more, we plan on hiring a few other workers and the ultimate dream would be to have our own detail shop someday. Time will tell and we will continue to work hard until we get there.
