Today we’d like to introduce you to Marissa Quinn

Marissa, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
In 2017 while vacationing in Florida with my husband talking about our life and careers in the pool, I decided I wanted to try something different. Microblading. My husband was extremely encouraging and supportive so I decided to do it! That same year I attended Brow Envy of Columbus Ohio and I became a certified Microblading Artist. I returned to Brow Envy for a second time and received my certification in Powder Brows. Little did I know how quickly my career would take off and I had found what I was meant to do! I truly have created a very unique experience for my clients. What I admired most about my educator, Amber Harrison, is that she did not keep ONE single piece of information from her students, she made sure to share all of her knowledge with us! So I had to do the same for my clients. Permanent makeup can be scary right? I walk each and every one of my clients through the process step by step to ensure that they feel comfortable. I believe this is key to being an excellent PMU artist. The past 7 years I’ve had the pleasure of creating beautiful eyebrows on hundreds of clients. The most important result of it all, is seeing how happy and confident I get to make women feel about themselves. Over the years I became an educator myself because I absolutely love teaching and it is so crucial to me that other artists can receive the proper education. Today I have two little girls who love going to work with mommy when they get the chance! My husband is a phenomenal barber and we love that we’re in the same realm of work! Creating brows is truly what I love.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a permanent makeup artist and I specialize in brows. I’ve been doing brows full time for over 7 years! I create natural and realistic hairlike brow strokes. I also offer Powder Brows which gives a more makeup effect. I’ve worked on hundreds of clients from those who have absolutely no hair due to plucking to those with medical issues that cause all of the hair to fall out. From red heads to blondes, I can give you the exact brow you’ve dreamt of!
