Hi Devin, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
hey there! so my full name is devin corwin. i turn 25 next month in februrary… i was born on 2/22/2000 on a Tuesday @ 2:20 in the morning (crazy right?) but not only that; itll also be my 9th year of being a monetized online public figure/entertainer/one-man-show/business powerhouse!

so at the age of 16, i went viral on youtube & other popular live streaming platforms at the time: such as younow & musical.ly (known as tik tok now). i quickly gained a large audience of nearly 1 million followers across all platforms by the end of 2016. i was known for my comedic skits, prank calls, catfishing as a different gender, & other crazy/outlandish stuff. i would broadcast myself doing these comedic stunts at least 4 nights every week. as well as post 1 youtube video every week as well. i’d also travel very frequently to many cities across the country. i was a guest on a couple social media tours, i attended social media conventions, & i’d host my own meet & greets too… i managed to do all of that while also attending high school & living a typical teenager lifestyle (as much as i could lol)

but over the past couple of years, i started to evolve & outgrow from my silly (and bizarre) online presence. i slowly stopped uploading youtube videos & slowly stopped broadcasting my comedic stuff. at the end of 2023, i began my new business venture on poshmark & have managed to successfully transform into a new brand for myself, as well as a profitable reselling business.

when i previously livestreamed, i solely relied on my personality & entertainment to make a stable income… but now, i can rely on reselling/flipping secondhand luxury clothes and accessories while also still continuing to be an entertainer as well. it puts a lot less pressure on my back this way, while also still having fun & staying true to myself. i livestream on poshmark 2-3 nights a week. by the end of last year, i managed to hit well-over 3000 sales for the year just from my livestreams. while also receiving tips & other forms of gratitude/appreciation from my newly developed fan base on Poshmark too.

even though i am not the same person i was from when i first started being an online entertainer. i am very proud of what i’ve accomplished. i enjoy what i do now, & i am happy to be where i am at today.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
definitely not. with that many eyes on me starting at age 15/16… it definitely felt very stressful… my popularity on these platforms would fluctuate rapidly all the time. which caused some self confidence/esteem issues. any scandals or very negative reviews about me also deeply hurt too.

not to mention, the need to constantly evolve & keep up with the social media trends, as well as rebrand my online identity & constantly figure out how to grow was a constant occurence & theme i would face at least once every year.

its an LLC. a one-man-show. just one person (me) running a single entity with multi-dimensional ways to profit & monetize online. whether that is selling products for people to buy, or creating/uploading content for people to follow/subscribe to. or anything & anywhere in between.
