Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Stephanie Morris Nunn, a highly acclaimed designer, is the CEO of The Nadira Art and Design Collection and Visionarizm LLC. She is a Sigma Gamma Rho Incorporated, Alpha Lambda Sigma Chapter member. She also serves on the Executive Council of Prevent Blindness, Ohio Affiliate. Stephanie, is also known as a First Time Author for “Eye Can’t” to I.C.O.N., while facing profound visual challenges.
Between 2006 to present, Stephanie has achieved numerous accolades, winning competitions while showcasing her line at esteemed events like The Nadira Art and Design Collection’s, Signature of an Artist Charity Gala (2023), The Cultural Gallery at The United Black Fund Annual Celebration (2024) Fashion Week Cleveland and The Great American Hat Show in New York. She has also presented her creations in Baltimore, MD, Washington, and Cincinnati, Ohio, among other locations. Stephanie’s notable achievements include winning the “International Designer of the Year” award from Linden New Day and Associates, earning her a trip to Paris and features in prestigious magazines.
Despite the challenges posed by her vision impairment, Stephanie remains active and influential. She has garnered respect in the Fashion Community for her innovative designs. Her clothing line caters to fashion-forward individuals of all sizes who seek to make a unique statement of elegance and sophistication. Stephanie’s artistic talents extend to creating abstract art, including murals, upcycled furniture, and handcrafted jewelry. Her renowned “Hardwear Collection” features wire ensembles embellished with crystals and glass beads, reflecting her signature style of uniqueness and timelessness. Stephanie’s creations are not just artifacts but heirlooms that can be cherished for generations.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Though artistic desires and entrepreneurial endeavors come struggles with lack of knowledge in business, inadequate supplies, and visual challenges. Stephanie was determined to never give up. She would not except failure. Her diverse skillset allowed her to create prayer pillows, epoxy murals, authentic crochet ensembles and one-of-a-kind originals deemed as The Nadira Art and Design Collection. Due to Stephanie’s visual challenges, there have been clients that were uncomfortable with her creating their authentic ensembles. At times this caused distress for Morris-Nunn, but soon discovered it just paved the way for new clients that believed in Gifts given by God!

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Ms. Nunn finds joy in creating beautiful art and designs while guiding youth groups, engaging in empowering discussions, and sharing valuable insights on socialization, respect, time management, and the significance of education. She appreciates art therapy as a way to enhance skills and foster entrepreneurial aspirations, fondly referring to today’s youth as the Leaders of Tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Stephanie’s passion lies in organizing galas, fashion shows, and exhibits in spaces that resonate with architectural beauty, offering audiences an experience filled with creativity. She motivates participants to bring their best efforts while ensuring guests have a memorable time enjoying the performances by talented artists.
Stephanie is dedicated to understanding your vision and values the sense of sight. She frequently collaborates on platforms covering various topics to promote overall well-being. Her objective is to share knowledge on maintaining healthy vision, inside and out.

What are your plans for the future?
The Nadira Art and Design Collection looks forward to continuing to elevate while engaging in art therapy, supporting the efforts of mental health and wellness in youth and adults. Creating a platform that allows those who have a “story to tell” in artistic exhibitions. She wants to work intensely with those who desire to learn how to live to their fullest, despite their challenges.
