Hi Nicole, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
We started this business to counter the experiences I had looking for a motorcycle when I first started riding. We started with restoring vintage motorcycles and wanted to open a physical location. We made merchandise with our logo and started exhibiting at pop up shops in anticipation of opening our location.

We strive to provide an inclusive environment that welcomes new riders of all kinds! We think we’re doing a decent job presenting an inclusive environment for womxn, minorities and new riders!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
We have struggled with changing the perception of “dealerships” that most people have. It has been a relatively easy to build our community because there hasn’t been a motorcycle community like ours in our area. We’re happy to be that for those that need and want it!

Throttle Company Vintage Motorcycles is a motorcycle dealership specializing in vintage motorcycles and new Royal Enfield & Moto Guzzi motorcycles. We provide events and social activities related to motorcycles that provide the inclusive environment we’re trying to build. We are set apart from other dealerships in that way, most dealerships don’t host tons of events and they don’t tend to provide inclusive environments with intent.

We are proud of how we’ve built our community and how safe and included our community feels. We offer education, inclusivity, support and a positive environment where most would not normally find one.
