Inspiring Conversations with Madison Knezevich of SkinHaus xMadison

Today we’d like to introduce you to Madison Knezevich

madison, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My love for skincare started young, per my mom recalling I would request “face masks with cucumbers” rather than movies and popcorn for sleepovers as a kid. I’ve always been interested the beauty industry, but as a kid wasn’t sure where to go. In 2013 I decided to enroll in Cosmetology school, and ends up I am no good at a cut or color.

After completing Cosmetology school I went into working a front desk job that quickly led me into a management role.
While I worked there I saw estheticians that would essentially “clock in and clock out”. There was no real relationship with the clients, it felt so transactional. I saw a flaw in the system and it was something I wanted to change. During that time I enrolled in the Aveda Institute to start my journey in the skincare world.

Upon graduating I worked under another local company called Skin and Sugar. I worked under my mentor, made amazing connections, and really developed a love for not only the job but also my clients. I loved what I did and who I did it for, but felt something inside me aching to make a brand of my own. In 2024 is when SkinHaus xMadison was born.

SkinHaus is a result-driven Skincare Studio, owned and operated by me – Madison! My goal is to make you feel truly comfortable in your own skin. Each appointment is not just a service, but a moment for genuine connection and personalized attention. My mission is for you to walk out feeling beautiful, knowing that your inner glow shines just as brightly as your outer radiance. I want each client to know they have a partner in their journey to their best skin.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road! I have three kids under four, and balancing mom life with running a business can be overwhelming at times. There’s a constant struggle to prioritize—finding time to be fully present with my kids while also committing to the needs of my business. Juggling everything means I’m always adjusting my schedule, but it’s worth it to make both family and career work together.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I own and operate SkinHaus xMadison. SkinHaus is a result-driven Skincare Studio located in New Albany. I’m a certified Face Reality acne expert specializing in result-driven treatments such as Hydrafacials and Procell Microchanneling.

My goal in starting SkinHaus is to create a space where clients feel better leaving than they did walking in. With in-depth consultations, longer appointment times, and regular communication my hope is clients feel like they have partner alongside them in their journey to feeling their best self.

Most proud of – My commitment to giving each client a 100% personalized experience. I hold a connection with each person that walks in my room. I give them my full attention, inside the treatment room and following their appointments.

How do you define success?
Success to me is waking up each day surrounded by a loving family, knowing they are my anchor and inspiration. its about going to work not just to provide for them, but to contribute in a way that really matters. real success is the balance between nurturing those close to us and pursuing a career that aligns with our purpose to serve.
