Today we’d like to introduce you to Jean Max Lozier
Hi Jean Max, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I use to be a pastor in Dominican Republic from 2009 to 2018, and during Covid my family and I moved to Jersey City NJ to work as assistant pastor in a revitalization process of a church.
And then our church from the same denomination lost there pastor and we received the call to move to Cleveland and start a replant process.
We’ve been living Here for only 9 months and still in the adaptation process. But since day one, we start loving the city as a place to grow our kid
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Jersey city is solimilar to New York, a very diverse community, multicultural and multi ethnic, crowed streets and bunch of things to do.
But cleveland is quiet and silence place, slow and some how empty.
We just try to enjoy the city “one day at a time”
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a freelance lenguage profesor, Forest engineer, Theologian lecturer and actually doing a Master in Divinity at IWU.
I am also am ordained minister, and happily pastor a multicultural church with people from 13 different countries
What was your favorite childhood memory?
Haiti in the 90’s use to be a happy place. I remember the countryside, the simplicity of beauty
