Today we’d like to introduce you to Breaja Morgan
Hi BreAja, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I started my modeling career around 2021. I started shooting with a local photographer for fun to help with her business and realized how much I loved being in front of the camera. Shortly after, I walked in my first show in LAFW and realized how much I loved being on the runway. Started looking into agencies and taking my career serious. I walked in NYFW after and then finally made it to Paris Fashion Week. I started getting published in huge magazines such as Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, and so many more!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It’s definitely not a smooth journey. This industry can be very competitive and very discouraging because you catch yourself comparing what you look like to your peers. Casting directors want a certain look and if that’s not you, it can bring you down. But I try not to let it get to me and continue to work hard and know I am meant for this life and career.

I am an international runway model. I am known for being on the runway and traveling to New York, LA, and Paris for shows. I am most proud of being in Paris Fashion Week. It was such a last minute decision for me but I loved it and can’t wait to explore different places. I would say what sets me or any model really from other models is I try to find something unique about myself. I find something that stands out from others and what would make people want me for their work.
Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
Covid-19 taught me to enjoy my own company. There was so much time being alone and having to learn that it is okay to not have people around all the time.
