Kaliyah, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Hi my name is Kaliyah. I am an upcoming social media influencer/model. I create content on TikTok and Instagram reels. I do hair company reviews/ Hair tutorials/ Mini vlogs/ Product reviews/ Try hauls and Brand shoots.

I’ve always had a love for the camera and using my creative skills. I love learning new edits and trying new things to make my content stand out. I’ve always recorded content but it always just sat in my camera roll. It wasn’t until 2022 when I started posting and being consistent. I started off on TikTok just making relatable and funny videos. In 2023 I started a podcast show with my best friend on streaming YouTube. This year I plan to take my content to new heights. Receiving new opportunities, Getting back consistent and no longer counting myself out!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I think any successful creators would agree that there are a couple bumps in the road on the way up. You have to focus on the bigger picture! You might not get the amount of likes you want. You might not get any views. You might not get any shares. You might not get support from your peers. You might feel like you will never succeed. The one thing you have to remember is everyone starts somewhere. If you have passion for something who cares what others might think. Just post that content!

God has been the light down my path. I know that in his timing everything will work for his good. All I have to do is keep having faith and believing that one day my content will inspire others. If you don’t believe in yourself then who will?

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
As stated before, I do different kind of content videos. I collaborate with brands and review their products. I do hair tutorials. I like to play “Dress up” trying different styles and taking pictures. I would say I am most proud of my journey and how far I’ve come. I’m proud that I have became so confident in myself. A major thing that sets me apart from others is that I’m authentically me. Everything I do reflects my character and personality.

What was your favorite childhood memory?
I don’t necessarily have a favorite childhood memory. My childhood was full of fun, excitement, adventure and surround by love. There are too many good memories just to choose one.
