Today we’d like to introduce you to Deandre Bellamy
Hi Deandre, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started cooking at the age of 14, helping my uncle Harold cook and cater events such as target. We used to cater there thanksgiving every year in Tallahassee Florida. So as I got older I worked in places like McDonalds and village inn, As cooks then deterred away from it. I started to do other things in my life but always came back to cooking. I started selling plates outta my apartment, until I was able to buy me a food truck. In the mix of all this I was a union Labor. With that being said that job is what had me traveling all over the world which landed me in Columbus Ohio. I worked at the intel project where I was mistreated and mislead. So in the mix of me going through sooo much on that job site I decided to get my food trailer transported to Columbus Ohio from Tallahassee Florida. Once it got here I had a mission to get it completed so I worked days and nights until it was completed passed all my inspection and put my talents to work. Gained over 6 thousand followers on instagram an in first two months.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Starting out it was slow I’m in a city and state where nobody know me. It’s my first time doing the food truck. I was nervous but I always said to myself I just need them to try my food. I started getting more involve with social media and let the customers be the judges.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?

My favorite child hood memory would have to been when my daddy used to pick me from school in his lowriders and all the kids used to claim the car like it was there’s then me and my siblings get in. He used to hit his switch have the car in three wheels leaving out the school . It was awesome. Another child hood memory was just being a kid hanging with my sisters and bothers playing outside, swimmings enjoying each others company.
