Today we’d like to introduce you to Julie Clayton
Hi Julie, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My name is Julie Clayton, and I am the Executive Director of the Over The Rhine Chamber of Commerce. I am a Cincinnati native who grew up in the Over the Rhine area by attending the School for the Creative and Performing Arts. I began my role with the Chamber in June of 2023. My career has been extensively in events and marketing.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has been a smooth road. The OTR Chamber of Commerce board has been extremely supportive. The community as a whole, has been very welcoming.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
My career has been extensively in events and marketing. My current position as Executive Director allows me to use my skills, business connections and creativity every day. My main goal when accepting this position was to make sure that the members of the Chamber always felt that they saw value in being a Chamber member.
