Hi Stephanie, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Throughout my life, people around me have known me for being passionate about animals; I have been a rescuer, and a defender and I have always wanted to dedicate my life to them in some way.

3 years ago my husband Alejandro and I decided to adopt a dog and in this decision, we met Oddy a 5-year-old dog who had been through several shelters without being adopted and this was his last chance; When we saw him it was love at first sight and when we learned about his history of abuse we decided that he was going to be the king of our lives and that we were going to do everything possible to give him the best, So I dedicated myself to researching canine food and nutrition and I was able to realize that Dog food sold is mostly loaded with chemicals such as additives and colorants that what they do is harm and shorten the life of our furry baby, which is why I decided to cook for him myself by doing this it allows me to choose the healthiest ingredients so I can give him a better and longer life, Thanks to this, Oddy remains completely healthy and full of energy and we are happy knowing that we are providing him with a completely natural diet without any elements that could harm him.

As time went by, cooking for my dog ​​became a very strong passion in me, because I realized that the best way to express my love to him was by giving him a completely healthy diet and that’s how Oddy’s Kitchen started.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
One of the greatest challenges that we had to go through is being in a country different from the country in which we were born, so being able to gain the trust of people has become a challenge for us since today there is a lot of competition in this market and there are large companies that have much more resources to make better advertising to reach more people. However, our main ingredients is love and dedication and we always do our best to ensure that this is reflected in each of our products and in every detail because we love what we do. Another challenge that we had to face has been the ridicule of some people who belittle what we are doing and why we give so much importance to food if it is only for “dogs.” However, we have tried not to let that affect us and rather strengthen us to move forward, improving and growing every day because we fully trust in what we are doing and in the quality of our products and we have very clear goals and objectives through this journey.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Our job mainly is to ensure that all our little ones are well cared for in their diet so that they can have a longer and healthier life, which is why we always try to maintain communication with each of their owners in case they have questions or doubts; Obtaining information about each furry baby is extremely important for us, it is good to know what they need and what diet is most convenient for them. Then we look for the best ingredients and we make sure that everything is clean as can be for its preparation, so we take all the necessary hygiene measures. All our products are handmade and we take the time to prepare each meal and each snack with great detail. Finally, inform the customer of their order and how it should be preserved, since everything is 100% natural, it is important to us that the food is properly preserved in their homes so that each dog can enjoy it to the fullest.

How do you think about happiness?
Happiness for us is being able to find a purpose in life. Discovering what you are passionate about and being able to dedicate yourself to that during the journey of life is what we call happiness and we feel that with this we have achieved it, that is why, what makes us happy is seeing how each dog enjoys all of our products. How they shake their tails and get excited when they see our white bags, knowing that we can achieve that in the lives of the beings we love the most makes us immensely happy because we are providing them with a healthier, more nutritious option free of compounds that can harm them since they have no voice to defend themselves.
