Today we’d like to introduce you to Samantha Randall.

Hi Samantha, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself. 
I saw a need. So, I created what was missing. Gourmet vegan desserts and gourmet vegan soft-serve ice cream. Sundae is more than just a small woman-owned business. It’s a community of love, warmth, and desserts. 

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The road is never smooth when you’re building your own lane. The journey is as phenomenally important as the business you offer. With great struggles come great surprises. 

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?

I am most proud of being able to help the community help as many animals as we can. My bakery donates 15% of all proceeds to no-kill animal shelters, oceanic conservation, farm and animal sanctuaries, reforestation, and so much more. In the 5 years since I opened Sundae, we have donated almost $20,000! Together, we can always make a difference. 

Risk-taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
Always take the risk. Big risks, gain bigger rewards or lessons. Each equal and full of value.
