Today we’d like to introduce you to Chanitta Westbrooks.
Hi Chanitta, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My love for wine and wine history allowed me to take a leap of faith December 2021 and create Amani Vines. What I didn’t know is that it would take me a whole year and half to receive all of licenses necessary to conduct a small winery. The journey helped me develop a new sense of PATIENCE. During this time, I continued to educate myself both in-person education and online to ensure when my licenses were issued, I was ready. I also used the time to market via social media, networking events, and etc. I was always taught, “Stay Ready so you don’t have to get Ready.“ I become an entrepreneur simply because I enjoy the freedom of self. I can choose how I create, and problem-solve through my own lenses. The thought of creating a product or service that no one knows about with a goal of getting them to know it can be scary, especially when you build your clientele up from nothing. No handouts, no “they bought it because of me”, but grinding and really getting your brand out to world is a whole other feeling of confidence and motivation. I’ve always been a hard worker and leader, so being an entrepreneur is just that an I live it with no regrets. My greatest accomplishments is the individuals I impact on the way, who get inspired to break those generational curses and create a longevity for their children’s children. It’s bigger than ME!!!
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?

I tell people often being an entrepreneur isn’t black and white, so if you aren’t willing to sacrifice, put in work, and keep going even on a low-earning day, entrepreneurship isn’t for you, but if you’re willing to grow and learn you will be Successful.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
