Meet Jamie Benson

Today, we’d like to introduce you to Jamie benson. Jamie was introduced to us by the brilliant and talented Imari Evans.

Hi Jamie, we’re so thrilled to have you sharing your story with us today. Maybe we can kick things off by having you introduce yourself to our readers? We’d love to have you go into your story and how you got to where you are today.
As a young girl, I was always fascinated in all things beauty and self care. I remember being in the bathroom with my mom, watching her put on her makeup and fixing her hair. It was always so exciting to me! I would always ask, “mommy, can I do my makeup?” She would give me a clean brush–which in reality had no makeup on it, but my imagination let me believe I was creating a flawless full face! As I got older, she slowly but surely allowed me to start wearing natural makeup enhancements and my love for makeup blossomed. I started watching Youtube videos to teach myself different techniques and skills. By the time I began high school, I look forward to game days as I knew that I would be able to glam all of my teammates on the cheer squad! When I went to college, I took pride in being a campus makeup artist. Wanting to take my artistry to the next level, I applied for a freelance artist position at MAC Cosmetics. The interview process was much different than any interview i’d ever done before. I was asked to do an audition, in which I was asked to come into the store during regular business hours to complete a full face on a stranger based off of a random scenario. I was so nervous! However, I grounded myself in my passion for beauty. My client loved the outcome and I was hired for the position. Present day, I have now started my own business: Effortless Beauty Makeup Artistry. I am passionate about making my clientele feel effortlessly beautiful by only enhancing the natural beauty that they already possess!

Please tell us more about your brand, Effortless Beauty Makeup Artistry
The name of my business is Effortless Beauty Makeup Artistry. Through my business I provide flawless facial enhancements with the use of makeup. I take pride in being able to offer my clients a luxury experience at every appointment, customizing the makeup to their skin type and personal preference. While I offer full face glams, I like my clients to leave the chair still looking like themselves! I love to provide an enhanced version of their natural beauty!

BBI Esthetics has been a great friend to us and I know you’ve got a great relationship as well. Maybe you can tell our audience a bit about BBI Esthetics and your experience with them.
Where do I even start? I LOVE Imari and BBI Esthetics. Imari’s services were introduced to our family through a family friend who had nothing but amazing things to say about her appointments! My dad was actually the first person to book an appointment, in which was for my mom. We were all so pleased with Imari’s attention to detail. My mom suffers from a handful of chronic allergies and we wanted to be sure that Imari’s products would be safe for her skin. Imari went above and beyond to make sure that all of the ingredients in her products were compatible with my mom’s allergies. In addition to giving my mom a treatment that had her skin GLOWING, Imari also went out of her way to have a bouquet of flowers for my mom following her session! The smile on my mom’s face when she returned home was just absolutely amazing! She could not stop talking about how amazing her experience was. So of course I couldn’t let my mom hog all of this amazingness! I booked an appointment and was blown away by her work. Her environment was clean and relaxing, and her spirit was so bubbly and comforting. At the end of my session, I was in awe at how moisturized and smooth my skin looked. Imari also made sure to ask about my home skincare routine which was an absolute disaster before meeting her. She took the time to educate me on different products I could use as well as the order in which to use them. I have seen such a difference in my skin since I have started her at home routine as well as monthly facials. And apparently, I am not the only one who has noticed! Friends and family have also made comments about it and asked what i’ve been doing different–and I immediately referred them to Imari! I have no received one bad review yet! Once you go once, you’re hooked! She truly does an amazing job! My skin and I are so thankful to have found her
