Check Out December Pergrem’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to December Pergrem.

Hi December, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My salesperson experience and wanting to do something of my own has always in my blood because my family actually owns a third-generation business in Centerville Ohio (they started it a week after my mom was born). While I absolutely adore the concept of owning my own traditional business, I also have seen a lot of heartbreaks throughout their trials and tribulations. I also am a mother now of three children, so I don’t have a lot of spare money floating around to really get started, which is why I absolutely love the layout of direct sales. I have been in the direct sales field now for sixteen years and with my current company for six. When I actually signed up I really just did it for the discount I had no intention on ever-growing a team or promoting or doing any of those things, but yet once I found out our mission it led me to heal myself and to really find a passion, I didn’t know that was inside of me.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Absolutely! I’m actually a childhood sexual abuse survivor, and until I really homed into our mission, I hid my story and trauma.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a blue-status leader with Younique. I think what sets us apart is that we are a mission-first company. I am most proud that this opened up my own healing, and now I help survivors of abuse daily.

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
Franklin, OH is a small-town feeling, most people know everyone. That can also have side effects.
