Meet Shaun Parker of Build Em High

Today we’d like to introduce you to Shaun Parker. 

Hi Shaun, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
We started as Parker Plumbing & Electric. We serviced the same area we service now but there was a high demand from my customers to open a store where they can buy the same items the big box stores carry without having to go to those box stores. Most of our customers value the customer service they cannot get at the box stores. Here, they can come in and select all the items to remodel the interior of their home without jumping from store to store to make selections. We sell Cabinets, Countertops, Thor Appliances, Flooring, Plumbing Supplies such as kitchen and bath faucets, shower faucets, shower doors, sinks, bathtubs, toilets, and LED mirrors, Remodeling Services, and Plumbing & Electrical services. We have a 3000 square foot showroom displaying all of our products. 

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The hardest part of our process is finding the right distributing partners for my customers. Each supplier we use needs to have the same business principles in place as we do, or this will not work. We buy direct from our suppliers, cutting out the middleman to deliver the best pricing we can for our customers. The other difficult task is getting my name out there so my customers know a company like us exists!!! 

As you know, we’re big fans of Build Em High. For our readers who might not be as familiar, what can you tell them about the brand?
Again, we opened this business to provide the items that are provided by the large box stores but with exceptional Customer Service. We specialize in Kitchen and Bath Remodeling and sell cabinets direct to the customer from Bertch, Fabuwood, Integrity, Jarlin, Kitchen Cabinet Distributors, and J&K Cabintery. We also sell Cambria Quartz countertops which have a Lifetime Guarantee. We are known as a Company to call to handle all phase of interior remodeling directly with Build Em High. We do not use outside Contractors and can do everything on the interior of the home to include Plumbing & Electric. That is the main thing that separates us from our competition, and most use subs that don’t show up or don’t even offer remodeling services. We want our customers to know we are their one stop for everything they need on the inside of their home!!! 

Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
We have open showroom hours and also work by appointment. We prefer to work by appointment, so we are prepared for our customers.
