Today we’d like to introduce you to Lovie Hogan.
Lovie, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
As an adopted child to a drug-addicted mother, I was able to overcome all obstacles and achieve success through entrepreneurship. I started my journey in real estate over 6 years ago as an investor in fix and flip primarily. I have branched out to become a licensed real estate agent where I now help other invest in real estate as well has build wealth through real estate. I currently own 10 doors through amazing partnership and looking to double that number this year and in the year to come.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not been a smooth road at all from battling neglect, abuse, and insecurities. I entered into a world that is dominated by men and while I was able to leverage my partnership with my son’s dad I still had to fight to been seen as my own individual and woman that is to be taken serious. Most people don’t feel woman can handle pressure or stress well so I had to overachieve and be under-recognized just to get into room and connect with people who could see my full value. Every day is still a fight it just a lot easier with experience and strong connections to rely on
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
I specialize in helping other invest in real estate. I teach the fundamental of real estate and how to leverage other people’s money to gain passive income through real estate. I have resources and connection to help people gain homeownership and grow wealth. I help people properly structure their business so that can utilize funding through their business. I am looking to expand and teach other what I know so they can reach people I can’t. If you’re interested in anything real estate I here to help pour into your success.
What were you like growing up?
I was tough crybaby growing up. hahah to think about all the time I have used tears to get my way is just a shame. I can honestly say I lived up to my name though. I love people and I love to be helpful. I had a short period in high school I ran track but didn’t last long. I have a lot of wonderful friend and connections. I was always the friend and still am that was inviting other friends to hang out and they all get there and be like Lovie invited me. it was always fun but I learned a lot fast how some people just don’t mix but the one who do they all go one to build friendship just from being friend with me 🙂
