Today we’d like to introduce you to Malitia Da’vinci. Them and their team share their story with us below:
Raheem Glenn Aka Malitia Davinci has a story that will captivate and entice and also capture the eyes of LITERALLY ANYONE! Malitia originates from his hometown of Chicago Illinois where he’s spent most of his childhood and teen days.
Coming up Malitia developed a passion for a variety of things such as
Poetry/Spoken Word, Football, & Helping children who had less then he did.
With Malitia’s mothers HEAVILY on drugs he was forced to be in a foster home.
I asked Malitia about his father which is very touchy subject for him he went on to say
“I still love my mother but when it comes to my father… She lied. She lied to my face over and over.
I was 6 years old when my father passed away, I use to ask her when he was coming home and her answer was always “In a couple of days baby”
A couple days would pass and I would be right there again asking the same question sounding like a broken record.
A couple months go by and she wakes me up out of my sleep and says “Cmon Boy” My initial thought was that we were just going to a store or just going to drop me off at my cousin’s like she would usually do. But nah I WALKED INTO MY FATHERS FUNERAL!!! Dressed in a white tank top and shorts
I Walk in and sit down on the front row and I see my father’s picture on top of his casket.
I’m 6 years old I wasn’t suppose to know that that feeling of emptiness was.
I couldn’t cry. I didn’t know what was going on. I didn’t understand!
I couldn’t understand why would he leave me. Why didn’t he come back?
Why would she bring me here?
This lady came up to me crying and whispered he’s gone Raheem.
I just sat there staring at his picture.”
Fast forward to about 10/11 years later
Malitia has already developed a good sound and made music that touched peoples’ heart.
By the time he was 24 he was a monster! He made making music look so effortless.
Making music about things like Drug Abuse, Suicide, Death of loved ones, His love life, and how he felt and feels to this day about things and certain people and situations that changed him.
Malitia’s’ Influences in music he said hands down
“Lil Wayne, Kevin Gates, Juice Wrld. & NBA Youngboy.”
After he dropped his first song on YouTube and all other platforms titled

(Malitia Davinci Sandbox) THOUSANDS of people compared him to Juice Wrld
Even other celebrities. Mm like Kevin Gates artist
Bezz Believe & Lil Boosie to be exact.
Malitia has had the luxury to work with some pretty good names in the industry such ass
Bezz Believe, Dj Unk, Young Buck, Solo Lucci, And BWA’S Very own O.G Boobie Black!
The pain you can see in him and when he lets it out in his music it’s just beautiful.
Malitia is definitely an artist that deserves that shot. And definitely a breakout artist of 2023!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s never a smooth road. Things may seem smooth but never get too comfortable it’s always someone willing to outwork you!
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m an artist, my work is amazing! I’m only so comfortable saying that because I used to make music for the people and always scared of their opinion. But now I make music for me. It’s therapeutic for me and whoever relates love it.
But once I started to do it for me, I’ve been the best I’ve ever been.
I’m known for heartbreak music.
I’m known for suicidal music that helps people more than making them feel alone even more!
It’s more so of hay if Malitia can talk about it and share his stories with us
Like he did in his most recent feature with Bezz Believe Titled “Suicide”
He talks about the morning he almost took his life.
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
That I do rock music REALLY REALLY well it’s almost scary lol. When people figure out, I’m from Chicago and sound the way I do it blows their minds. And when they hear I do rock music their officially mind F***** and they love it.
