Meet Sarah Dorsky of Hydrate Me

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sarah Dorsky.

Hi Sarah, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started my career as an emergency department nurse, then went back to school to become a Nurse Practitioner. After graduating, I worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner and started doing some work with Hydrate Me on the side.

I really loved the brand and what it stood for, and my husband and I saw how much potential there was in bringing it to more people in our community. When the opportunity to franchise came up, we decided to go for it with our business partners. We opened the New Albany location and are now proud franchise owners of both the Granville and New Albany Hydrate Me locations.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
There have definitely been so many ups and downs. The clinical side of things came more naturally to me, but becoming an owner has meant learning so much about the business side—finances, staffing, operations, marketing, and everything that happens behind the scenes.

Some days you feel incredibly successful and proud of how far you’ve come, and the next day you’re worried about making payroll or figuring out how to handle the next challenge. It’s a weird balance. There is freedom in being an owner, but there is also a lot of responsibility because, at the end of the day, you’re the one making the decisions and carrying the weight of the business.

But through it all, we have some of the best staff and clients. Seeing our team grow and knowing we get to serve such an amazing community makes all of the hard days worth it.

We’ve been impressed with Hydrate Me, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Hydrate Me is a wellness and aesthetics practice with 4 locations in central Ohio. I am a franchisee owner of the New Albany and Granville locations. We offer a mix of services designed to help clients feel their best—both inside and out—including IV therapy, wellness injections, medical weight-loss support, aesthetics, skincare, hormone replacement therapy and treatments that help clients feel more confident in their skin.

What makes us different is that we truly focus on the full client experience. We want every person who walks through the door to feel comfortable, welcomed, and listened to. Whether someone is coming in because they are tired, preparing for an event, working toward health goals, or simply wanting to invest in themselves, we take the time to understand what they need and create a plan that makes sense for them.

We are also proud to have an amazing team. Our staff is knowledgeable, caring, and genuinely passionate about what they do. We want Hydrate Me to feel approachable—not intimidating or overly clinical—while still providing safe, high-quality care.

What does success mean to you?
For me, success is being able to go to bed at night and fall asleep without worrying. It is knowing that I did the best I could that day—at work, at home, and for the people who depend on me.

I want to look back on my life and know that I was present for my family and set a good example for my girls. I want them to see that hard work matters, but so do faith, kindness, and showing up for the people you love.

In business, success is not just about numbers. I want every client to feel like more than a number and to know that their outcome genuinely matters to me. At the end of the day, I want to wake up, trust that God has a plan, do my part, and believe that everything will work out the way it is meant to.
