Meet Mia Shy of The Mia Method of Lending

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mia Shy.

Hi Mia, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My journey started at Mt. Sinai hospital in Cleveland, Ohio where I was born. I was raised in Euclid, Ohio a suburb only about ten minutes away. My Dad and mom raised me, and since the age of four I had a tennis racquet in my hand-I was an avid tennis player all the way up until my teenage years.

I always had dreams of becoming a singer one day, which I still possess, and the journey with tennis wasn’t the smoothest since my dreams collided with my Dad’s. As a teenage mom, both dreams were put on hold and the tumultuous journey of single motherhood took its place. That same precious gift of a child is now a young adult and I am so thankful that the plan, above my own, was to bring her into this world.

I have the freedom now to pursue the dreams that I put on hold and things are falling into place. I am now an aspiring model, singer, songwriter, and producer. Life now can still have its struggles but I truly appreciate my life and everything I’ve been through to be molded into the woman I am today.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Not at all. The teenage pregnancy, the rejection from my peers, the few long extended hospital visits for an illness that I have finally overcome has been extremely difficult. I look at challenges as growth and discomfort as it leads to positive change due to the strength that follows. Giving up on life is not an option. Perseverance is in my blood.

As you know, we’re big fans of The Mia Method of Lending. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I am a Broker who specifically has a business, The Mia Method of Lending, to help small businesses get funding. I specialize in seeking out these business owners to assist them with obtaining funds for equipment, expansion, and capital that they are seeking. My business even funds start-up businesses!

Banks have a long process of getting small businesses funded and often reject most-over up to 70%! My lending business offers a simple method to apply online, whether you have great credit or not, and some businesses can get a response as quick as up to a couple days, sometimes even 24 hours.

What sets me apart from others is my obsessive drive to help other people. I got into this business to help other individuals and I have a passion to see others achieve their goals and dreams. This business was the answer to that calling.

What am I most proud of brand wise is our motto for integrity and honesty. We believe in doing what’s best for our clients without burning bridges with clients or the lenders. We strive in having great relationships on both ends.

What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
Relentlessness! With that nothing can or will stop you towards your goals and dreams.
