Meet Mark Levis of Jackpot Games

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mark Levis.

Mark, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I have been involved in business development, operations, and entertainment for the entirety of my adult working life. I’ve championed lean six sigma for high profile companies, I’ve helped develop and grow start ups and well-established places of business, and I’ve been a theatre kid and gig actor for longer than anything else, including a brief stint as a theatre teacher for K-8. But never have all these different paths combined into one job.

Enter: Jackpot Games. We are a party casino company – offering a casino experience that we bring to you. Whether it be in a hotel ballroom, your place of business, or your home, we bring tables and dealers and set up your space to look like a real casino.

I run the company on behalf of the owner, Sherri Foxman, who also owns Party 411 Events.

Backed by the power of our sister company Party 411 and by my background is various theatre and performance spaces, we are unique in that we offer more than a casino experience. We offer themes, packaged with decor, performers, and almost any sort of activation you can dream up.

Do you want an Alice in Wonderland theme? Dealers in costumes and a decor and character actors to make it look like you are walking into Wonderland? We can do it!

Do you want cowboys, pirates, or a proper speakeasy vibe? We can do it!

We are very active in the non-profit space in Cleveland; offering an easy way to draw in guests and raise money via entertainment. With our casino games, guests can pay to play, but all their chips turn into raffle tickets at the end of the night for donated prizes, and all the money goes to the non-profit.

Outside of fundraisers, we are a fantastic option for general entertainment for your residential events and corporate parties.

We take partying very seriously and have a lot of fun doing it!

I’ve never been more pleased and invested in a job and I cannot imagine myself anywhere else.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The greatest challenge was learning about casino games. I’m not a gambler. Entertainment and organizing events I know how to do. But implementing casino games into how I am used to operating was a challenge for my fast-math-challenged mind. 🤣 There was a learning curve, but I made it through.

At Jackpot Games we specialize in creating a party casino experience, bringing the casino games and dealers to our guests, wherever they may be.

What really sets us apart is the creativity we invest into our themes. From Alice in Wonderland to a classic Speakeasy, we know how to dress the part, act the part, and set up the space to look the part.

I am most proud of our work in the non-profit sector. We help a number of non-profits raise money for their causes and I am overjoyed by their successes and the repeat business and trust they have in us to keep coming back to us year after year.

We like to be a one-stop shop for all your needs. If you want casino games, a DJ, decor, a photo booth, and anything else you can dream up, we can do it!

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
That’s a tough one. Maybe watching Saturday morning cartoons at my grandparents’ house. Eating oreos and catching up on the X-Men and Eek the Cat.

Maybe just spending time at my grandparents’ farm in general. I spent a lot of time exploring the woods and pastures on the property. Letting my imagination run wild.

Life was carefree, I had no schedule, and I was spoiled by a loving grandmother.
