Meet Karlo Zuzic of Ohio

Today we’d like to introduce you to Karlo Zuzic.

Karlo, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
In July of 2022 I was looking to buy a bigger house. So I seen this listing for this 5 bedroom 4 bath home that was built in 1898 so I went to look at it. After seeing it I wanted it but it needed some work but it was big and just cool looking. After I purchased it about 3 weeks of owning it I was cutting grass it was a hot sunday about 1pm I went into the house as I open the front door there was a boy standing on the landing he had red hair black suite and white shirt and then he disappeared. This made me realize there is more to the house then what I knew. So after some research I learned that Jermome Bihl built the house in 1898 the only death we saw with them was they had a still born. In 1922 the Wolfe family bought it they lived there from 1922 to 1966 there are 4 known deaths from them Daisy’s mom and Clarence mom both died here also Clanrence died in there in 1942 and Daisy died in the house in 1966. Then the home became a orphanage for the first 10 years then it became the Harmony House group home for sick, mentally challenged and unwanted kids it was that until 1991 and then 92 and 93 it was a group home for adult men. Historian said children did pass away in there cause they housed sick kids. After I learned all this I wanted to open the house up as a haunted Airbnb for ghost hunters and paranormal enthusiasts to come and stay and possibly experience something paranormal. All the money we make goes into the restoration of the Haunted Bihl Manor.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
At first it was a tuff road cause you don’t know what to expect and if people would come. Today its doing very well its a popular paranormal hot spot.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I have been a paranormal investigator myself fort 20 years. I love the research of the Unknown. I have raised alot of money doing charity ghost hunting fundraisers for local historical museums so I took what I knew and built this amazing haunted location for others to enjoy.

Who else deserves credit in your story?
My girlfreind Heather she helps me and she is co owner but my freind Chris Page which has passed away i joined ORBS Ohio Researchers of Banded Spirits ghost hunting team and we filmed many TV shows together Haunted Case Files, The Hauntef, etc but we learned from each other.
