Bree, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My journey as a cosmetologist began long before I ever stepped foot in a salon. I was just a kid when I discovered my natural instinct for beauty. By the time I was 13 my “business” was already thriving as friends and family trusted me enough to pay for my services. That early hustle blossomed tenfold when I entered cosmetology school, where I finally had the tools to match the talent I’d been practicing my whole life. I went from a neighborhood favorite to a trained professional, watching my passion grow into a true craft.However, life brought hardships that eventually forced me to set my tools down for a while. During that quiet season, I had to rediscover who I was outside of the industry, but stepping away only made me realize how much this work is a part of my soul. Now, I am back and more in love with this craft than ever before. I’ve found a fresh perspective through my new focus on makeup, viewing every face as a canvas for a transformative art form. I’m not just returning to my roots; I’m starting this new chapter with a wisdom and a renewed creative fire.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Moving cities and shifting demographics has definitely added a layer of “growing pains” to my story. It hasn’t been the smoothest road, as relocating meant leaving behind a loyal client base and learning how to connect with an entirely new community. Adapting my skills to fit different demographics and constantly expanding my service menu required me to be as much of a student as I am an expert.But looking back, every hurdle was just preparation for the artist I am today. Those challenges pushed me to be more versatile and resilient, turning my transition into a true evolution. Now, with a deeper love for the craft and a specialized focus on makeup, I’ve found my rhythm again. I’m not just offering services; I’m bringing a lifetime of experience and a fresh, refined vision to every client who sits in my chair.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am an all-around hair and makeup artist who refuses to be boxed into a single niche. While most artists choose one lane, I own the entire highway from bridal glam and editorial fashion to special effects and avant-garde styles. I am known for this ultimate versatility, masterfully handling all hair textures and skin tones across every beauty category. What sets me apart is my ability to seamlessly pivot between radically different aesthetics, executing a flawless, natural look in the morning and a dramatic runway hairstyle in the afternoon.I am most proud of this boundaryless skill set. I have built a reputation where every area of beauty is mine, meaning I never have to turn a client away or say “that is not my style.”

How do you define success?
I define my success by waking up every single day doing exactly what I love and what I was created to do. I am most proud of building a boundaryless career where every area of beauty is mine, meaning I never have to turn a client away or compromise my purpose.
