Hi Misty, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Graphic Equlizer Productions started sorta my senior year DJing parties, weddings that sorta thing, Then i started my business in 2000 officially after after I got out of highschool. I felt collage at the time wasn’t jellin at the time so while was going to Detroit Recording Institute. I camd out with a brilliant idea. Why don’t I do a mobile recording engineer that way if bands didn’t want goto the studio I could always goto them either rehearsal space to record them and also did live sound for various shows as well. Then one day in my second year in the business a bang asked can help them a local gigs. Which I agreed to this and then my company branch into booking live entertainment. Then before you know I had four bands I was working with. I got side business working for a magazine called Indie Script Magazine I would go live video tape bands concerts and which open doors to booking more talent. Well after my son was born in 2008 and around 2010. I got an email from some magazine based in Argentina. Wanted do interview with me. They said I helped a band from their country with a local show and we’re super intrigued by my business. After their interview they told me I guarantee your business will blow up. Thinking to myself okay I guess so. Sure enough few months later my business blew up internationally. Then started get one to four then over four hundred bands and artists known and unknown worldwide. 2011 also played synthesizers live for Zombie Girl and was getting recognition for that too. Well then 2015 I went back to school to get re certified in Pro Tools. Then first school convince me to get my BA in Sound Engineering which was a great idea but original school of choice was misleading and I transferred to Academy of Art Institute in San Francisco where changed my audio major to sound design for visual media due to movie industry incentive Michigan was going momentum. Right after my second divorce worked few film projects doing sound design even with no incentive at this point. Well I continued working with people in the music entertainment industry and then after my second divorce I started focusing myself for once in my life and empowering myself. I started modeling, burlesque and pinup contest. Then modeling made blow up I have currently been published in magazine eighteen times in the USA, UK, GB and France. Also my Burlesque gaining momentum as well I traveled various parts of USA and headlined a show in Montreal, QC, Canada. So I feel going through that direction next. My next chapter of my life who knows what chapters might follow. I’ve had an interesting adventures and I’m also looking at publishing a biography about my life and adventures by the time I am 50.
