Today we’d like to introduce you to Tina Wilmhoff.
Hi Tina, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My path to professional organizing was shaped by a wide range of experiences. Early work as a file clerk taught me the value of clear categories and reliable systems. Retail showed me how layout and visibility affect the way people navigate a space. As a daycare owner, I learned how routines, visual order, and simple expectations can lower stress for both children and adults.
More than 20 years in the travel industry further sharpened my ability to coordinate details, manage logistics, and bring order to complicated situations. Looking back, those experiences had a common thread: creating systems that make life work more smoothly.
I was drawn to the problem-solving side of it. I enjoyed finding ways to make things easier, clearer, and more functional for people.
The mission behind RevampT Spaces is deeply personal. I grew up in a cluttered household and understand that clutter often carries more weight than what is visible in a room. It can be tied to changing life circumstances, memories, delayed decisions, responsibilities, and the constant mental load of knowing something needs to be addressed.
I chose to turn my natural organizing ability into a purpose-driven business. I pursued professional training and certifications while developing an approach rooted in empathy rather than criticism.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Building RevampT Spaces has meant learning to grow a business while also helping others navigate the very real challenges that can come with clutter, overwhelm, and major life transitions.
One early challenge was helping people understand that professional organizing is not just about making a space look nice. For many clients, clutter is connected to stress, decision fatigue, grief, changing family needs, health issues, ADHD, or years of postponed choices. I have had to communicate that this work is not about judgment or perfection—it is about creating practical support and systems that make daily life feel more manageable.
Another challenge has been building trust. Inviting someone into their home and allowing them to see the spaces they may feel embarrassed about takes courage. I work hard to create a judgment-free environment where clients remain in control of their belongings and decisions. My role is to provide structure, encouragement, and solutions—not to tell someone what they should keep or let go of.
As a small-business owner, I have also had to wear many hats: organizer, educator, marketer, scheduler, content creator, networker, and administrator. Growing a service-based business requires balancing time in clients’ homes with the behind-the-scenes work of building awareness, developing partnerships, continuing education, and maintaining systems within my own business.
Supporting clients with ADHD has added another meaningful layer to my work. Traditional organizing advice is not always realistic or sustainable for an ADHD brain. I have learned to focus on low-friction systems, visible storage, smaller steps, flexible routines, and progress over perfection. This has required continued training, listening, and adapting—because the best organizing system is the one a client can actually maintain.
Each challenge has strengthened the purpose behind RevampT Spaces. It has reinforced my belief that organization is not about being perfect or having less just for the sake of having less. It is about creating a home that supports the way you live, reduces daily stress, and gives you more room to focus on what matters.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I built RevampT Spaces for real homes and real people—not showroom spaces. I work with individuals, couples, families, and clients navigating ADHD or decision fatigue, helping them create systems that fit how they actually live.
My process is collaborative. My clients remain in control of their belongings and decisions, while I provide structure, questions, guidance, and practical solutions. A project may begin with one drawer, one category, or one small area instead of an entire room. That first manageable win can build momentum and confidence.
My goal is not simply an attractive “after” photo. I want clients to have a space that is easier to maintain, a home that supports everyday routines, and a system that reduces the mental energy required to find, use, and put away what matters.
My philosophy also extends beyond the home. In my community-facing decluttering guidance, I encourage people to begin small, create a donation station, and make a decision when they pick up an item—simple practices that can turn an intimidating project into a series of achievable steps.
What matters most to you? Why?
I believe every person deserves a home that supports them rather than drains them. That is especially meaningful to me when I am working with someone who feels overwhelmed by clutter, life transitions, or ADHD-related challenges. I have seen how small, practical changes can create real relief: a space becomes easier to use, routines feel more manageable, and people regain confidence in their ability to maintain their home.
What also matters deeply to me is providing a judgment-free experience. Inviting someone into a cluttered or difficult space can feel vulnerable, and I never want clients to feel ashamed of where they are starting. I want them to feel heard, respected, and supported as we make decisions together.
Ultimately, I care most about creating lasting change—not simply a beautiful “after.” My goal is to help people build practical, sustainable systems that fit their real lives, reduce their mental load, and give them more time and energy for the people and priorities they love.
