Today we’d like to introduce you to Kenzie + Nick Hoar.
Hi Kenzie + Nick, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Are we a hubby/wife chiro duo? YES!! We love it. Many people ask if we met at chiro school, but we actually met in high school. We both loved the healthcare field. Nick knew he wanted to be a chiropractor since he was young, as his family received regular care (lucky!!). I, however, did not. I was going for Physical Therapy in college until I attended an internship where I realized it just wasn’t for me. Nick introduced me to chiropractic where I realized the passion behind this profession: knowing that the body has the ability to heal itself. A career rooted in empowering and speaking life into people? Sign me up! So, we were off to obtain our doctorate together in Atlanta, Georgia.
We finished the program together and knew we were meant to open our own practice. After much prayer and mentorship, we landed here in Cincinnati, and it’s been so evident we’re where we’re supposed to be. We absolutely love taking care of families & individuals in our office every day. We get to see miracles happen!
We started Garden City Chiropractic knowing that our healthcare system is broken. There are more questions than answers, more doubt & fear, more chronic disease than ever before.
It’s our mission to be a light for our community. To remind them how powerful they are, to instill belief in their journey, to tell them they’re not alone. Most of all, tell them that there’s HOPE!!
We’re so blessed to be a part of many people’s health journeys and to provide the care that we do to restore function!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Being business owners and parents comes with its challenges for sure, but every year is a huge learning experience for us both professionally and personally. We love working together!
Not everyone will agree with us, and they’re not meant to. Not everyone will like us and that’s okay. Our job is to share truth, to walk alongside people, to stand in the gap for them and to clear their nervous systems through the chiropractic adjustment so they can have the best chance for true health.
God has called us to this profession, and He’ll carry us through it. It’s not always easy but it’s ALWAYS worth it!!
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Garden City Chiropractic?
Our mission is to empower kids and families in our community in their health so that they can make informed healthcare decisions for themselves. We strive to stand in the gap for our community – however they need us to. 2026 has been an incredible journey for us as we continue to serve more people in our community. Our business has almost doubled since last year both in volume and impact. We are currently serving more kids than ever before and that is our heart and soul! We’re seeing kids heal from tough conditions like epilepsy, ADHD, failure to thrive, constant sickness, bed wetting and so much more WITHOUT the use of medications! Chiropractic care changes these people’s lives. Our business values have never waivered, one of them being “be loyal to the future”. We take care of pregnant moms and kids now who will grow into adults with higher functioning nervous systems and bodies. We are transparent, encouraging, supportive and personal. We work hard to get to know our practice member’s personal lives so that we can form relationships that stay with them outside of the four walls of our practice. We research and learn about each condition that we undertake in our office, attend seminars both business and craft-related. We train ourselves and our team relentlessly to better ourselves in any way. We avoid stagnation. We always press forward. We are committed to bettering our community’s health which in turn betters their lives, building a more promising community as a whole. A better functioning practice member is a better performing employee, mom, dad, spouse, sibling, grandparent, elected leader, etc. By positively impacting one person’s health, they in turn live a more enjoyable life, make more sound decisions, and make bigger impacts in their community. We are dedicated to the betterment of our community. We are dedicated to being a business that experiences longevity and makes a name for themselves that far outlives their physical footprint in their community.
How do you think about luck?
We don’t believe in luck! We work hard to keep evolving. We also believe the Lord has blessed us with success! A mix of hard work + God’s direction in our lives has gotten us to where we are now. We are grateful.
