Today we’d like to introduce you to Dallas Cash.
Hi Dallas, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My life’s journey has always been driven by a passion for rhythm, storytelling, and spotlighting underappreciated voices.
It began in the seventh grade, fueled by a deep-seated love for hip-hop, when I first stepped into the arena of battle competition. What started as an early outlet for lyricism naturally evolved over the years into a music career and a serious competitive pursuit. I went on to perform and test my craft under various battle rap leagues across North America, competing directly alongside world-class talent and sharpening my ability to perform under pressure.
In 2024, I expanded my creative focus to found The Humble Roses Podcast, a platform dedicated to highlighting the unsung heroes of professional wrestling. Through the show, I have had the privilege of interviewing world-famous industry talent, giving voice to the figures behind the business who often operate outside the mainstream spotlight.
Today, my main objective is to build on this momentum, expand our reach, and establish The Humble Roses Podcast as a household name.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I faced many struggles, some still today with recognition in 2 markets that are over saturated. It’s really hard to stand out even when you do different things. People are familiar with me, but not everyone. I aim high.
I have dealt with betrayal, politics, just about anything that you can think of in a hostile and snake industry.
Financial burdens, and almost wanting to quit. Things I’ve done over the years, and My belief in God has brought me this far and I won’t look back.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Wow, that’s a loaded set of questions. Very good by the way.
What I Do & What I Specialize In:
I am a podcast host, music artist, and competitive battle rap writer and performer. Professionally, I host and produce The Humble Roses Podcast, a platform created in 2024 specifically dedicated to highlighting the unsung heroes of professional wrestling. Beyond broadcasting, I specialize in lyrist-driven storytelling, complex punchline writing, and live entertainment performance.
What I Am Known For & What Sets Me Apart
I am best known for my sharp pen, distinct performance style, and ability to bridge the gap between hip-hop culture and professional wrestling. Having competed in various battle rap leagues across North America against world-class talent, I bring a unique level of lyricism, creative discipline, and live crowd engagement to everything I create. What sets me apart with The Humble Roses Podcast is our distinct focus: rather than just chasing mainstream commentary, we give a dedicated voice to the essential talent and behind-the-scenes figures who keep the industry running.
What I Am Most Proud Of?
I am most proud of building The Humble Roses Podcast from the ground up into a respected platform that regularly interviews world-famous industry figures, while staying true to our original mission of elevating overlooked talent. Combining my lifelong roots in hip-hop and battle rap with my passion for wrestling to create a brand that resonates with fans nationwide is easily my greatest creative achievement.
Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
Haha. I always say “it’s better to be good than lucky.”
Sometimes luck does favor me and sometimes it doesn’t. The biggest factor for me has always been timing. Give or take Timing beats luck in my opinion. Many might say otherwise but I’m a big fan of timing. It plays a large factor in my success/fail rate.
