Hi Anthony, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I’ve always been drawn to music, performance, and the feeling of bringing people together. My journey into drag and entertainment started as a creative outlet—a way to express myself, build confidence, and share my love for performing with others. What began as an interest in music, style, and being onstage gradually became something much more meaningful: a chance to connect with people and be part of a vibrant, supportive community.

For just about 10 years, I’ve been proud to be part of the West family. Being part of that family has given me opportunities to grow as an entertainer, build lasting connections, and share memorable moments with audiences and fellow performers. Over time, I’ve continued developing my performance style through live shows, music, and creating experiences that let people have fun, feel seen, and escape everyday stress for a while.

Drag has taught me the importance of confidence, authenticity, creativity, and supporting the people around you. I’m proud to be involved in the local entertainment community, and I hope to keep growing as a performer while using my platform to bring energy, positivity, and a little extra sparkle to every space I enter.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Overall, my journey in drag and entertainment has been a very positive experience. I’ve been fortunate to find community, support, and belonging through performing and being part of the West family for nearly 10 years. It has given me opportunities to grow creatively, build confidence, and connect with people I may not have met otherwise.

Like any creative path, I’ve faced challenges along the way. Performing takes a lot of time, energy, preparation, and vulnerability, especially when you put a piece of yourself in front of an audience. There are also normal ups and downs—learning from performances that did not go exactly as planned, balancing responsibilities, and continuing to push yourself creatively. But those experiences have helped me grow, become more confident, and appreciate the positive moments even more.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I work full-time in drag and entertainment. I specialize in live performance, connecting with audiences, and creating fun, welcoming, memorable experiences. For me, drag is more than getting onstage—it is about music, personality, creativity, and creating a space where people can relax, celebrate, and feel included. Outside of performing, I am also enrolled in an online medical billing and coding program, where I currently maintain a 4.0 GPA. I plan to enter the healthcare field as a medical coder. I am proud to pursue both paths: giving my full energy to my entertainment career while staying committed to my education and long-term professional goals.

What sets me apart is my dedication and willingness to keep growing. Whether I am preparing for a performance or working through coursework, I take pride in being dependable, detail-oriented, and fully invested in what I do. I am most proud of the connections I have made through drag, the confidence I have built over the years, and my ability to continue moving forward creatively and professionally.

So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
What matters most to me is being authentic, building meaningful connections, and continuing to grow as both a person and a performer. Drag has given me a space to express myself creatively, connect with people from different backgrounds, and be part of a community that celebrates individuality. I value creating an environment where people feel welcome, entertained, and able to be themselves.

My chosen family and the relationships I have built over the past nearly 10 years also mean a great deal to me. Their support, encouragement, and shared experiences have shaped who I am and reminded me that success is not only about individual accomplishments—it is also about the people you uplift and the positive impact you have on those around you.

I also care deeply about working toward a stable future through my education and career goals. Maintaining a 4.0 GPA in my medical billing and coding program reflects the dedication I bring to the next chapter of my life. Drag and healthcare may look very different on the surface, but both let me use my strengths—compassion, attention to detail, and commitment—to make a positive difference.
