Since 2004 I have been an entrepreneur. I have been responsible for numerous business entities since then. From home remodeling to event planning. The businesses that have created lasting impact and still providing services are ClothesBox Custom Apparel and The JuiceBox.

ClothesBox Custom Apparel is a printing company, we specialize in custom apparel printing services. If you need 1 shirt later today or 510 shirts this week, if you need onsite printing at your event, or if you need any printing products call us 1st. At ClothesBox we pride ourselves in having the capacity to print using state-of-the-art printing methods and providing our customers with quality over quantity style services. Since 2005 ClothesBox has printed for customers from around the globe. The JuiceBox is a mobile event center. JuiceBox is something you have to see in person to allow your imagination to grasp.

The JuiceBox has 3 performance platforms and is equipped as a full-service food trailer. Our menu consists 1 of a kind experience and can be geared towards any event theme from children’s birthday parties to weddings and tailgating events. We serve slushies, hibiscus tea, cold-pressed juices, and lemonade, we can grill hamburgers, and ribs or deep fry fresh-cut fries, fish and so much more.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Smooth like oatmeal. The work is easy. The learning curve is the challenge. Learning how to provide consistent quality services over time/every time. Learning and being responsible for time, understanding finance, and the importance of managing and building credit.

Securing adequate resources, and surrounding yourself with the right people. Being an entrepreneur is very mentally overwhelming. Learning to keep family and business in their own spaces helps the oatmeal lumps.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I would say I’m known for being a stand-up guy. I would be most proud of not quitting. It would be easy for me to build a resume and go get a high-paying job. I am a college graduate and hold several certifications in multiple areas.

Quitting crosses my mind every morning I wake up… then what, being a quitter is a dead-end profession. What sets me apart is my heart. My willingness to sacrifice for the good of others. Taking care of my tribe, and being a role model to the people watching. I enjoy making my ancestors proud.

So maybe we end by discussing what matters most to you and why?
Changing to the narrative of people that look like me and come from where I came from. To leave a positive legacy for my family and community to build on. Shining my light so that others see the light of God in and through me.

Doing something unexpected and uncommon but being welcomed with open arms.”Wu-tang is for children.
