Today we’d like to introduce you to Julian Ford.
Hi Julian, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I actually always had an interest in photography ever since I was a little kid. It wouldn’t be until after graduating college, that I would get a camera that wasn’t a simple point-and-shoot. To be honest, the camera I got was originally going to be used for a gaming YouTube channel. However, I took it out to photograph a friend and fell in love with portrait photography.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
It’s been a pretty smooth road honestly. I mean, of course, the whole learning process and understanding photography as a whole is its own challenge. I think my biggest challenge is remembering I have a life outside of photography.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I specialize in portrait photography. I like taking pictures of people in just about any context honestly, what sets me apart from others? Oh, that’s a good question, If I had to pick some things id say my attention to detail and honestly my personal editing style.
