Today we’d like to introduce you to EvenOut Twins. 

Hello EvenOut Twins, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
We are identical twin brothers Marko & Niko Martinovic. We started our YouTube channel, “EvenOut” in 2015. As young children, we always fooled around using our identical looks to play tricks on our parents and friends. Growing up, we stepped it up and took each other’s classes in high school and college; I studied for one exam and took it for the both of us, while the other twin studied for the other exam and did the same. After finishing college, we realized that we should have a camera filming us while doing our tricks, so that’s exactly what we did. We started traveling and creating new ideas everywhere we went, we wanted to confuse people and make them feel like they’re going crazy, but we always believed in keeping our videos wholesome so everyone can enjoy them. 

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
When we started YouTube, we figured our niche and what we were good at right away, but for many years it seemed impossible to break through YouTube algorithm prank space since it was catered around jump scare and harmful pranks. We faced this problem for over 5 years since our style was wholesome feel-good pranks. We stuck through it and believed in our content no matter what was trending, and it started to pay off slowly. 

Thanks – so, what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
We are known for using our identical twin looks by creating concepts into everyday scenarios. Our videos are made to make people pay attention to their surroundings and test their thinking. When people notice what’s going on and try to put together what’s happening creates the funny, genuine reaction that people enjoy watching. We are known for creating a “glitch in the simulation” in real life, almost like the movie the Matrix. 

We are proud of the content we make that tests people in a prank-like setting, with no harm or embarrassing situations for them, creating an audience of all ages. We truly believe that having fun and doing things correctly will influence other content creators to follow this format of creating “pranks”. Especially in a world where videos that create disrespectful actions that are rewarded with attention and views. 

Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
When covid began that’s when our videos started gathering traction since everyone was indoors consuming content. We learned that people were looking for wholesome content in a world of crazy times. During the lockdown, we learned to be creative creating content, as well the business side of the back end.
