Today we’d like to introduce you to Rebecca Temerario. She shares her story with us below:

Founder, CEO & Creative Director Rebecca Temerario founded Steel Tulip Creative Co. in 2021.

After spending more than a decade coaching educators, small businesses, and authors to grow their marketing strategies using social media strategy, well-crafted emails, standout websites, and bespoke events, she decided to pivot from working for others to going into business to serve these groups.

She founded Steel Tulip Creative Co. to help small-to-medium-sized businesses and sole proprietors scale their marketing tools and build growth from the ground up.

“Steel Tulip” defines the agency’s view on marketing: a solid plan contains the strength of steel, yet keeps perennially growing like tulips year after year.

The business is named in honor of Rebecca’s grandfather, who encouraged her to tell others’ stories by telling her his own. He worked in the steel mill in Lorain and made the wooden tulip you see in the photos. In creating the name of my business, Rebecca wanted something that felt genuine to how she views marketing, that also honored her own heritage and the collective legacy of Cleveland.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed growing my business using the same strategies and tactics we use for our clients!

Networking and really getting out and meeting the business community here in Cleveland has been so wonderful—it’s always great to meet other like-minded souls, and the small business/entrepreneurship community here in Cleveland is so welcoming and vibrant. We all just want to see each other succeed.
