Today we’d like to introduce you to Kenai Jordan.
Hi Kenai, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
As a kid, I have always dreamed big. My plans of innovation for the world are even bigger. I have traveled to many, yet still few places…but have gained so much experience and knowledge along my continuing journey. After some deep thinking and analysis upon life, I came to the realization of the true meaning of mine.
Moving forward is the key to my success in life. It will be the key to my future as well. Having the willingness to take risk, you’re able to seize opportunities that can vastly benefit you long term. Which brings me here, to where I am now.
I took a leap of faith, and now all that is left is the journey ahead… Cincinnati is a small puzzle piece, a part of a magnificent picture I am in the process of creating.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Every road is bumpy, rather you feel them or not. My road has had its ups and downs, but as I mentioned before. Moving forward is the key to my success.
A bumpy or smooth road cannot be a blockade to my destination. Only my decision to move forward or not will be.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I do many things. I would have to say I specialize in recording and/or producing music. I record, mix and master my work in my own personal space. Not only do I record the audio, but I will also produce the visuals as well.
As an artist, it doesn’t stop there. I am also the CEO of my record label YupYup Global Inc. I have a few artists already signed to my label. Black Pacasso, KYN, and Sin’Żen are three of my top and favorite artists currently.
If there had to be something I am most proud of, it’d have to be my beloved son. He is what keeps me driven the way I am and inspires me to continue on for a brighter future for not only me but him as well.
Differences are what sets something apart from anything. I am not going to be cliché and say I’m different or go on about what makes me different. Only because we all have our own unique ways.
The gift or special talent will not always be recognized by one yet still, it is always there. Whatever that seems to stick out to you of me is what sets me apart from others… which would be my unrecognized gift that I may still be lacking to see.
What does success mean to you?
Success is a very subjective word. To me, success is any time or any place you feel accomplished or at peace.
