Today we’d like to introduce you to Roosevelt “R0$E” Coats III.
Hi Roosevelt, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
Growing up I was always into music. I started private piano lessons at Cuyahoga Community College Arts Prep Program from second grade to 12th grade. After high school started producing and formed a hip-hop group called C.O.N.G.O.L.OM.O… During our journey as artist trying to make it, I found support for local artist is low. Later in 2016, I created 4EVACLE to give artist support and exposer that is needed. My goal is support any artist coming from Cleveland giving them a platform to show their talent. Hopefully, one day no other artist will have to through what I did.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The most difficult part of this journey has been staying consistent and creating new ideas to support artist.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m music producer I have work with many artist. I’m most proud of the music I created with Vonte The Great & F@ Dave. We have created a new energy for the city that gave a lot of other artist motivation to keep going. As a producer I specialize in understanding the need of the artist. What sets me apart I have the vision of how to make Cleveland the next major city in hip-hop music.
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
I developed a love for cooking. Recently I have found it very therapeutic cooking meals for my family. My favorite is grilling ribs and chicken on holidays.
