Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrea Hall.
Hi Andrea, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I am the face and sound of Champion Girl Productions. I’ve been a singer all of my life in church. When my mother, Joselyn Chandler, died unexpectedly of Pancreatic Cancer in 2013, my family created Champion Girl Productions to continue her legacy in the arts. So far we have produced an original stage play and released original songs.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
There has definitely been a learning curve as we’ve ventured into the entertainment world. From owning intellectual property, getting original music recorded and distributed, and staying relevant on social media, I have learned a lot. There is always more knowledge to gain.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I upload weekly #MusicMonday cover videos on social media to engage followers. I’m also the host of a live talk show #ChampionChats on the Champion Girl Productions social media platforms where we discuss life issues with special guests.
What do you think about happiness?
Singing makes me happy. Whether it is at church, a wedding, a funeral, or a cover video posted online, I know words sung to a melody have power. I use the gift of my voice as a vehicle to change someone’s day or prayerfully even their life.
