Today we’d like to introduce you to Kazuhiko Gomi.
Hi Kazuhiko, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I come from a musical family. My father is a Piano tuner and he owns Musical Instrumental Shop and CD shop.
Music is always around me.
I started learning Piano and composition when I was a child.
Went to Berklee College of Music in Boston.
After that moved to NYC and worked on a lot of artists, DJs, etc.
I still keep hustling.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Not at all. A lot of failures.
But failure is a stepping-stone to success.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Making and performing music. I love to produce music myself or other artists.
It’s so pleasing to see people are enjoying my music on the radio, dance floor.
What matters most to you? Why?
My family. It’s everything.
