Today we’d like to introduce you to Teaira Ridgeway. Them and their team share their story with us below:
Teaira is an International Clarity Coach, Healing Practitioner, Photographer, and Published Illustrator from Ohio. She has spent years providing her divine coaching services nationally and internationally to spiritual beings from all different backgrounds and walks of life.
Although she was born with gifts passed down from generation to generation; Teaira got her start on her spiritual journey in college at Ohio University. At the time she was focused on her own spiritual development while earning her degree in Child and Family Studies.
Growing up in a family that fostered children, her passion for supporting youth runs to her core. In the eight years following graduation, she went on to work in education, government, and the nonprofit sector with children and families in low-income communities.
But as a consummate spiritual learner, she continued in her spiritual study by getting a second bachelor’s degree from the University of Sedona in Metaphysical Science along with becoming a Master Certified Professional Coach, Certified Professional Numerologist, Ordained Minister and specializes in 20+ years of Dream Interpretation.
Through the many ups and downs along the journey; Teaira continues to bring her optimism to each and every soul she touches! Her coaching style has been described as “infusing the humanity into spirituality.” She brings her light, fun attitude to even the heaviest of topics, helping her clients and cohort members feel energized and positive as they heal and grow.
Today, Teaira is working on her Ph.D. in Metaphysical Counseling, with her heart set on opening an International Leadership Training Center, offering a home and healing space to foster children. She aspires to continue to touch the lives of her clients through her photography, digital art, classes and coaching cohorts while providing guidance, vision and clarity for Queens, Kings, and everyone in between along the way.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely has not been a smooth road for me; but I am extremely blessed to have walked and continue to walk on this path. As I grow and mature, I start to look at myself and understand that my reality is a figment of how I perceive it. I cannot control the circumstances, but I can control how I react to it.
Taking the leap of faith with my artwork, photography and coaching business didn’t start with amazing confidence and fearless risk taking; Queens with LIT Dreams was born from a place of healing and picking up the pieces from a failed spiritual business I once had.
I left my career in mental health as a Mental Health Counselor (along with other jobs working with youth in California) feeling the drastic impact of years of burn out in the service field and felt I needed to help others in a different way. So, I took the HUGE risk of leaving my career and I started a spiritual business with a partner. I sold my belongings, packed my suitcase and booked a one way ticket to Cambodia. I felt truly inspired to change the world and I just KNEW that this was the beginning of my journey to leaving my footprint in the world.
I invested my heart and soul (along with every cent of my money) into my business, and although things seemed amazing on the outside; it was truly one of the hardest times of my life. I became extremely depressed and eventually was no longer in a space to “practice what I preached.” This was devastating!
After traveling internationally, speaking at conferences, hosting retreats and teaching workshops and classes across the world; I made one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make. I decided to walk away from a business and a partner that was no longer aligned with me. I was creatively blocked, living every day in a very inauthentic way, feeling as if I was only “pretending” to walk in my purpose, and being constantly reminded each day of how I wasn’t “good enough” or “doing enough” to make the business successful. I was stuck in a foreign country trying to hold on to a dream that was literally killing me and draining my soul dry.
With that being said, after traveling nationally and internationally for almost 2 years; I decided to leave Southeast Asia and go back home to Ohio with my parents…. broke… and starting completely from scratch.
For the first time in ten years, I was home and had to start over while fighting the societal pressure of leaving what was seemingly a “successful” business. I began to explore my artwork more to cope with my frustration around being creatively blocked and decided to put myself out to the world as an artist.
And just like that… Queens with LIT Dreams was born!
With each step, I’ve learned and expanded my talents in ways I didn’t feel free to do so in the past. As I continue to heal and pick up the pieces from my journey, I realize that my experiences only make me stronger and more capable to help others in similar situations. Now, I am on my path that was created for me; and today, I can create from my heart, guide from my experience, and heal others from my soul!

As a healer, coach and multi-talented artist, my creativity is informed by my deep spiritual connection and ability to feel and see the highest potential in others.

My TRUE GIFT and expertise lies in my creative ability to “capture the essence of the soul”, identify and match people with the modality necessary for their healing journey, and create customized work that best suits the needs of my clients and those whose paths I’ve come across.
As a Master Certified Professional Clarity Coach, I help coaches, healers, and entrepreneurs align their energy with their businesses by providing tools to help INNERstand their purpose and allow their gifts to speak for itself. My true passion lies in my ability to shine light on confidence and awareness of self!

If we could truly heal as a whole, we can create a new way of living and existing on our planet. As co-creators, we can build a new reality for ourselves if we take accountability and responsibility for our own healing. When one person heals, we all can heal.
So many of us feel that our path is meant to walk down alone; but I disagree. It is the love, growth and inspiration we gain from helping each other on our paths that will lead us in a light of true love and innerstanding. Being able to truly heal allows us to open ourselves up to the possibilities of life and to TRULY be us…. Unapologetically!
