Today we’d like to introduce you to Diamyn Rembert.
Hi Diamyn, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My name is Diamyn, owner of Diamyn’s Crystal Bar, where we help people heal through crystal energy because crystals helped me heal. I started using crystals after hitting a low point when I graduated from college and started the whole “adulting” thing. I was batting horrible anxiety and depression and my mental health was suffering. Until I got a hold of an amethyst crystal that made me feel calm, gave me clarity, and helped me tap into my power- where I once felt powerless.
Here at Diamyn’s Crystal Bar, we promote mind, body, and spirit wellness through healing crystals. We empower and encourage you to become more mindful of your energy and your spiritual wellness. We offer crystal knowledge courses, reiki and crystal healing, custom jewelry, and crystals! Our mission, through our unique and inexpensive crystals, is to give you the tools you need to embrace the less-stressed version of you, manifest your intentions, honor your authenticity and embrace your abundance. My passion for crystals and energy speaks for itself and I am always excited to share the metaphysical healing properties of crystals with other people.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely has not been a smooth road. In 2020, I broke my pelvis and had to learn how to walk again. This caused me to totally re-imagine my business and honestly, my life. It was really hard and kind of scary to face as a business owner. My business also struggled when the pandemic began. All the pop-up shops and markets came to a halt. Then, we opened our collaborative location, Pause, and a month later had to face shutting down and social distancing.
It’s been a challenge but today, we are thriving and excited for what’s next.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I consider myself a self-taught gemologist. I have been studying minerals for over four years now and I specialize in identification. I can identify at least 300+ different specimens. I am also a jeweler that focuses on incorporating minerals and gems in jewelry for healing or metaphysical purpose. What really sets me apart is my level of expertise and identification skills. I have worked with everything from diamonds to extremely rare minerals. My passion speaks for itself. I am absolutely in love with crystals and I think being named after the Diamond Head Mountain in Hawaii really speaks to my love of gems and minerals.
Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
My advice is to work as hard as you can to be an expert in your desired field. It takes a minimum of 10 years to become an expert in anything. Stay focused and do good, quality work. Be honest and authentic when you are sharing your passion.
