Today we’d like to introduce you to Natalie Rice.
Hi Natalie, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Event planning for me started as a hobby and a blog, and then what seems like all at once, a few of my personal connections asked if I was accepting clients. And in 2019, Natalia’s Event Planning LLC was born.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The launch of my first spring wedding season was postponed due to the pandemic. After promoting my new business for the better half of a year, my first paid events were delayed and I managed to work through the climate of event planning during the coronavirus as a new professional planner on the scene. I was reading articles, connecting with established businesses, and revisited the way my business was structured to ensure the client and my services were aligned and protected.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I love bringing my client’s event goals and vision to life through my talents in styling a beautiful reception and take pride in strategically managing the fine details of their big day.
Getting to know them and their family and friends is such a rewarding part of my role as a planner. Event planning is where my passions and talents meet and I’m so thrilled to earn my community’s business and trust in planning their special life occasions.
Natalia is the romantic tense of my given name, and because I think we all enjoy attending or hosting life’s more charming affairs, the name was a natural fit for this business.
Our tag line at Natalia’s Event Planning is “let’s make this party pretty”, so not only will your event be aesthetically beautiful, but you’ll have the peace of mind that your planning is on schedule and within budget, that your vendor relationships are established and well-managed, that every planning detail has been considered in advance, and that you can sit back and relax on event day while your vision comes to life!
What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
Micro weddings are a silver lining to the pandemic and I don’t think they are going anywhere!
Couples realize that a smaller and more intimate gathering can be just as much fun and certainly just as romantic and charming. Not to mention styling is elevated and expanded upon when catering and beverage costs have the flexibility to decrease due to a smaller headcount.
