Inspiring Conversations with Marina Amaral of Le Macaron French pastries at Liberty Center

Today we’d like to introduce you to Marina Amaral.

Hi Marina, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I was born in Brazil and after moving abroad including Europe (Switzerland and Germany) I had arrived in Ohio due my husband’s international assignment. After years being a home mom, I decided to open my own business!

It had to be something about pastries, European pastries!

I decided to open a Le Macaron French Pastries franchise, something we didn’t have until 2018 in this area!

Macarons aré the stars in my shop, but we have croissants, chocolates, French gelatos and much more!

Everything I have at my store I had tried to make sure all items are authentic like in Europe. We don’t use high fructose, corn syrup, or artificial colors in the pastries.

All are natural and delicious like you found in Paris.

Almost 3 years in the business the store gets a great reputation and customers had become friends. New customers are always here trying these delicacies and enjoying our “petit cafe”

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
None business is easy to start! Besides all the obstacles all have we also had to cross the pandemic with no sure what could happen!

But we are here helping the economy grow again.

As you know, we’re big fans of Le Macaron French pastries at Liberty Center. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Located in the open mall area with a curbside and orders can be made online, we have LAVAZZA coffee and a big variety of European pastries including eclairs, Napoleons, and tarts!

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
I am always thankful for my community supporting me, my family and my friends always there to listen me and especially Daniela Gausmann who never stopped working and thinking how to solve little things, the University of Dayton students who with an awesome orientation of Professor Michael Gorman were able to create a better way to project our inventory
