Today we’d like to introduce you to Jana Jordan.

Hi Jana, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I got into content creation by traveling a lot to Florida. I used to travel to Orlando almost every month. When I was in Orlando, I would explore all around with my aunt. She used to work for Disney, so I went to the parks a lot and started filming everything I did. From then on, I started to film every new place I went or new experience I discovered here in Cleveland, Ohio, and I’ve been creating content since. I always enjoyed finding and sharing experiences that helped other people discover new places, products, and ideas to enjoy and sparked their interest in trying something new. What started as casually posting meals and places I enjoyed has grown into a passion for creating authentic, engaging content that people can trust.

Over the past year, I’ve focused on creating lifestyle and food content while learning photography, video editing, and a little bit of storytelling. I’ve worked to build relationships with local businesses and other content creators, and I love creating content that looks and feels aesthetically pleasing and engaging to the eye rather than just promotional.

When I am not creating content, I am focusing on being a full-time student at Arizona State University online to get my bachelor’s in Organizational Leadership and also creating ideas for content to create inside and outside of Cleveland, Ohio.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
One thing I struggle with most is finding time to attend events. With eight-week classes and balancing my own care, I’m always exhausted trying to keep up and stay consistent. However, I know it is part of the journey, and it all pays off at the end. I want to make content creation my full-time job, and I am passionate about doing the work it takes to make my dream come true.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am currently a full-time student, and I’m focused on building a career in digital content creation and social media. While I’m still early in my professional journey, I’ve dedicated a lot of time to learning photography, videography, editing, and storytelling through creating lifestyle and food content.

I’m most proud of stepping outside of my comfort zone to connect with local businesses and create authentic content that helps people discover new places and experiences. I enjoy creating content that feels genuine, informative, and visually engaging.

What sets me apart is my willingness to learn and grow. I’m always looking for ways to improve my skills, build meaningful relationships, and create content that people can trust. As a student, I’m excited to continue developing both personally and professionally while turning my passion for content creation into a long-term career.

What matters most to you? Why?
Authenticity matters most to me because I believe genuine connections are built on honesty and trust. Whether I’m creating content, interacting with people, or sharing my experiences, I want others to know they’re seeing the real me—not a curated version of who I think they want me to be.

As someone pursuing content creation, I believe authenticity is what makes content meaningful. I want to recommend places, products, and experiences that I truly enjoy and believe in so my audience can trust my opinions. Staying true to my values allows me to build lasting relationships with both my community and the brands I work with.
