Hidden Gems: Meet Nay Reynolds of Lavish Vixenz

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nay Reynolds.

Hi Nay, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I founded Lavish Vixenz Model Agency (LVMA) with a vision to create opportunities for aspiring models who wanted more than just a photoshoot—they wanted education, guidance, and real industry experience. Early on, I noticed that many talented individuals had the passion to model but lacked access to the knowledge, mentorship, and professional development needed to navigate the industry with confidence.

What started as a passion for developing talent has grown into a model development agency focused on preparing models for long-term success. Through runway training, editorial posing, branding, portfolio development, and hands-on industry education, LVMA equips models with the skills and professionalism needed to pursue opportunities with confidence. Beyond training, we actively connect our talent with photographers, designers, boutiques, and other creatives to provide real-world experience that helps build both their portfolios and their careers.

As the agency has grown, so has our impact. We’ve collaborated with local businesses, creative professionals, and community organizations while creating meaningful opportunities for emerging talent. One of the things I’m most proud of is building an environment where models feel supported, challenged, and empowered to grow—not just as models, but as professionals.

Today, LVMA continues to expand through industry partnerships, educational programs, creative campaigns, and community collaborations. My goal has always been to bridge the gap between aspiring talent and the professional modeling industry while helping each model build the confidence, knowledge, and experience to pursue their goals on their own terms.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
oh no, not at all. Like most business owners, I’ve had to learn a lot through experience. Building a modeling agency means you’re constantly balancing creativity with the business side of things—planning events, building relationships, managing expectations, and making decisions that help the agency grow while staying true to your vision.

One of the biggest challenges has been educating people about what a model development agency actually does. Many people only see the finished photos or fashion shows, but they don’t see the work that goes into preparing models behind the scenes. A big part of my mission has been showing that modeling is a profession that requires training, professionalism, and continuous growth.

I’ve also learned that growth takes patience. Not every opportunity is the right opportunity, and not every idea works out exactly as planned. Instead of seeing those moments as failures, I’ve learned to treat them as lessons that help me improve the agency and better serve my models.

Looking back, every challenge has helped shape LVMA into what it is today. It’s made me more intentional, more adaptable, and even more committed to creating meaningful opportunities for the talent we represent.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
At LVMA, we’re more than a modeling agency—we’re a model development agency. Our focus isn’t just on finding talent; it’s on developing it. We work with aspiring and experienced models who are serious about growing in the industry by providing education, coaching, and real-world opportunities that help prepare them for professional success.

We specialize in runway training, editorial posing, confidence development, portfolio building, branding, industry education, and professional etiquette. We also collaborate with photographers, designers, boutiques, and businesses to create campaigns and creative projects that give our models valuable experience while helping brands connect with diverse, well-prepared talent.

I think what sets LVMA apart is that we genuinely invest in the people we work with. We don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Every model has different goals, strengths, and areas they want to improve, so we take the time to help them develop those skills while building confidence and professionalism along the way.

I’m especially proud of the community we’ve built. Watching our models gain confidence, book opportunities, walk their first runway, or simply believe in themselves in a way they never have before is incredibly rewarding. Success isn’t just measured by bookings—it’s measured by growth, confidence, and seeing someone realize they’re capable of more than they imagined.

I also want people to know that LVMA is committed to creating opportunities. Whether it’s through brand collaborations, educational workshops, networking events, creative campaigns, or industry exposure, our goal is to bridge the gap between aspiring talent and the professional modeling world. We want every model who comes through our agency to leave with more knowledge, stronger skills, meaningful connections, and the confidence to pursue their goals long after they’ve worked with us.

Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
One thing I’ve learned is that networking isn’t about collecting as many contacts as possible—it’s about building genuine relationships. Some of the best opportunities I’ve had came from consistently showing up, supporting other creatives, and following through on my commitments. People remember how you make them feel and whether they can rely on you.

When it comes to finding a mentor, I’d encourage people to look for someone whose values and career align with where they want to go—not just someone with a big name or large following. A great mentor is someone who is willing to share knowledge, offer honest feedback, and challenge you to grow.

I’d also say don’t underestimate the power of your local community. Attend industry events, volunteer, collaborate, ask thoughtful questions, and be open to learning. Every connection doesn’t have to lead to an immediate opportunity. Some of the most valuable relationships are built over time through consistency, professionalism, and mutual respect.

Most importantly, be willing to invest in yourself. Keep learning, accept constructive criticism, and don’t be afraid to start before you feel completely ready. The more you grow personally and professionally, the more meaningful your network becomes.
