Today we’d like to introduce you to Nav Singh.

Hi Nav, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
We opened in 2018 as a BBQ Smoke House but were suppose to get into the Pizza business, sometimes things go in a totally different direction in life and that is ok, we have been through many ups and downs and that’s all apart of life. We are here today in 2026 and surrounded by many more new businesses in the Ohio City neighborhood and it’s great.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No road is smooth in my view, whether you’re opening a business, operating a business, starting a new job, working a job or doing something as simple as planning a trip. Plan ahead, walk carefully and do the best you can is all I can suggest.

As you know, we’re big fans of Real Smoqed BBQ. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
We are a Cleveland based BBQ Smoke House and specialize in SmoQ’ed BBQ and have been serving our customers since 2018. We are known obviously for our BBQ Ribs and Chicken but also our Cleveland Favorite! THE CLEVELAND POLISH BOY sandwich which is a deep fried all beef kielbasa on a hoagie bun topped with crispy fries, house slaw and our signature sweet & smokey BBQ sauce.

You will enjoy this delicious & messy meal – just don’t wear your favorite white outfit while you eat! It gets saucy!

Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
Just really glad to see many new businesses come into Cleveland within the last 8 years and things are going good as can be.
