Rising Stars: Meet Robin OMalley of Ohio

Today we’d like to introduce you to Robin OMalley.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My journey into modeling, acting, and radio began with a love for creativity, communication, and connecting with people. I graduated from Ohio Media School, which helped me develop my voice and confidence in broadcasting and opened the door to opportunities in radio.

I began modeling in 2019, and from there, one opportunity led to another. I gained experience in runway, print, fashion, commercial, and promotional work, which eventually encouraged me to explore acting as well. Over time, I continued building my experience while balancing motherhood, a full-time job, and the realities of pursuing multiple creative careers.

Each part of my journey has helped shape who I am today, not only as a model, aspiring actress, radio personality, and author, but also as someone who wants to inspire and guide others who may be trying to find their own way into the industry.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has definitely not been a smooth road. One of the greatest challenges in my journey was losing both my stepfather and my father three years apart. My stepfather passed away from cancer the same year I began pursuing my career, and i unexpectedly lost my father to a massive heart attack in 2021. He was my biggest supporter, always encouraging me to believe in myself and reminding me, “You’re on your way to the Hollywood Walk of Fame, kid.”

As a single mother, I continued raising my children, working full time, and chasing my dreams while carrying grief I hadn’t fully processed. Eventually, years of stress caught up with me, leading to serious health challenges that temporarily paused my career. Thankfully, I am doing much better today, and the experience taught me that resilience isn’t just about pushing through, it’s also about allowing yourself the time to heal.

Those obstacles may have delayed my journey, but they never ended it. They gave me a deeper appreciation for every opportunity, and I continue pursuing my dreams with both of the men who believed in me in my heart.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I work across modeling, acting, radio, and writing. My modeling career has given me opportunities in runway, commercial, print, promotional, and editorial work, including walking in Ohio Fashion Week, LA Fashion Week, working with designers, appearing in magazines and on billboards. My background in broadcasting began at Ohio Media School and led to becoming a radio personality and co-host of the OUTLAWS Radio Show, heard on iHeartRadio, Apple Podcasts, and Spotify. Acting has naturally grown from my love of storytelling, and I’m also working toward expanding into commercial fitness modeling.

What I’m most proud of isn’t just the opportunities I’ve had, but the fact that I’ve continued pursuing them while raising two children as a single mother and working full time. I didn’t have unlimited resources or industry connections, so I learned to create opportunities instead of waiting for them, eventually they started coming to me.

What sets me apart is my versatility and authenticity. Whether I’m on a runway, behind a microphone, in front of a camera, or writing my book, I want my work to encourage others to believe in themselves. I hope to show people, especially women and mothers, that it’s never too late to pursue the dreams that matter to them.

How do you define success?
Success, to me, is about growth, purpose, and impact. It’s not measured by fame or recognition, but by becoming the best version of myself while creating opportunities that once seemed out of reach.

Success also means being able to provide for my family, build a legacy my children can be proud of, and use my experiences to encourage others. If my work inspires even one person to believe it’s not too late to pursue their dreams, then I’ve accomplished something meaningful.

At the end of the day, I hope people remember me not only for the work I created, but for the way I encouraged others to believe in themselves.
