Hi Stevi, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My career has never followed a straight line—it has been shaped by a deep curiosity about people, leadership, and what truly helps individuals and organizations thrive.

I began my career in Fortune 500 brand management and marketing, with leadership roles at Procter & Gamble, Newell Rubbermaid, UC Health, and other organizations where I learned how to build trusted brands, lead through change, and connect strategy to measurable business outcomes. While I loved the work, I increasingly found myself drawn to a bigger question: *What if we designed organizations that helped people flourish—not just perform?*

That question became the foundation for everything I’ve built since.

In 2019, I founded WISe Wellness Guild, a strategic brand and marketing consultancy focused exclusively on the health and wellness industry. We help healthcare systems, wellness companies, startups, and consumer brands clarify their positioning, tell compelling stories, and create meaningful growth. Today, we’ve partnered with organizations ranging from national health systems and Fortune 500 companies to emerging wellness innovators, all with the goal of making wellness more accessible, trusted, and impactful.

As my work evolved, executives began asking for more than brand strategy—they wanted leadership strategy. That led me to launch Stevi Carr Executive Coaching, where I coach physician leaders, healthcare executives, founders, and high-performing professionals through organizational transformation, leadership development, and sustainable performance. My coaching blends evidence-based leadership practices with a whole-person approach, helping leaders achieve exceptional results without sacrificing their wellbeing.

Most recently, I co-founded WellNXT, a wellness platform and festival series designed to reimagine how people experience health. Through immersive events, expert-led education, community partnerships, and brand experiences, we’re bringing together healthcare, fitness, nutrition, recovery, mental health, and technology in ways that inspire people to take ownership of their wellbeing. Alongside my co-founder Mike Millay, our vision extends far beyond events—we’re building a national ecosystem that connects consumers, employers, providers, and wellness brands around one shared mission: creating healthier communities.

Looking back, every chapter of my career has built toward the same purpose. Whether I’m helping a CEO define a brand strategy, coaching a physician leader through organizational change, or producing a large-scale wellness experience, my work centers on one belief: when we invest in healthier people, we build healthier organizations, stronger communities, and ultimately a better future.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road—but I wouldn’t change it.

Building businesses across healthcare, wellness, and leadership means operating in industries that are constantly evolving. Healthcare policy shifts, changing consumer expectations, economic cycles, emerging technologies, and evolving regulations all influence how organizations grow. I’ve learned that successful businesses aren’t built by waiting for certainty—they’re built by staying agile, anticipating change, and continually creating value.

Like every entrepreneur, I’ve also faced challenges that shaped both me and the companies I’ve built—from a personal health scare that reinforced my commitment to wellbeing, to navigating major life transitions while growing businesses as a single parent. Those experiences strengthened my resilience, sharpened my perspective, and made me a more empathetic leader and coach.

Perhaps the biggest lesson has been understanding the difference between agility and instability. Agility means being willing to evolve your strategy as the market changes. Stability comes from having a clear mission and values that don’t change. When your purpose is clear, you can navigate uncertainty with confidence.

Today, I view resilience as more than a personal characteristic—it’s a strategic advantage. It’s the mindset I bring to every engagement, whether I’m helping a healthcare system navigate transformation, coaching an executive through change, or building the next chapter of WellNXT. In business and in life, change is inevitable. The organizations and leaders that thrive are the ones willing to adapt while staying grounded in who they are and why they exist.

How do you define success?

If I’ve helped a healthcare organization better serve its community, empowered a founder to grow with confidence, inspired someone to take ownership of their wellbeing, or built something that outlasts me, that’s success.

I also believe success isn’t about choosing between ambition and wellbeing. The greatest achievement is building a life where your work has purpose, your relationships have depth, and your impact extends beyond your own accomplishments.
