With more than 44 years of experience in the music and entertainment industry, Tony D. Sanders, Sr. has built a reputation as an entrepreneur, talent developer, artist manager, author, and entertainment executive dedicated to helping artists and businesses achieve long-term success. Throughout his career, he has combined creative vision with business expertise, developing companies and programs that empower independent artists while connecting audiences with world-class entertainment.

Tony is the founder and CEO of several successful ventures, including Impact Enterprises Concert & Entertainment Services, LLC (founded in 2007), Tony Sanders Enterprises (2009), and New Image Entertainment Booking Agency (2012). Through these companies, he has provided artist management, celebrity booking, concert promotion, entertainment consulting, business development, and artist career strategy. In the summer of 2024, Tony made history by founding The Laugh Zone House of Comedy, recognized as Dayton, Ohio’s first Black-owned comedy club. Although the venue concluded operations in the winter of 2025, it reflected his unwavering commitment to creating opportunities for entertainers and expanding the region’s cultural and entertainment landscape.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road to where I am today has been anything but easy. Over more than four decades in the music and entertainment industry, I’ve experienced incredible highs and difficult lows. I’ve celebrated successful tours, managed talented artists, launched businesses, written a book, opened venues, and created opportunities for countless entertainers. Along the way, I’ve learned that success isn’t measured by the absence of challenges—it’s measured by your ability to keep moving forward despite them.

**Throughout my journey, I’ve worked with people from every walk of life. Some relationships have grown into lifelong friendships built on trust, loyalty, and mutual respect, while others have tested my patience, integrity, and resilience. The entertainment industry is filled with diverse personalities, and every experience—good or bad—has taught me valuable lessons about leadership, communication, and perseverance. Those experiences have shaped not only the businessman I am today but also the mentor, author, and entrepreneur I’ve become. They remind me that character is built during the difficult moments, and every challenge has prepared me to better serve the artists, entrepreneurs, and organizations I work with today.
