Check Out Andrew Egan’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrew Egan.

Hi Andrew, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My journey has always been driven by a passion for creativity and independence In 2019, I channeled that passion into founding Inspire Digital Studios LLC, where I serve as the Owner and Creative Director. Based in Northern Wisconsin, I’ve spent the last several years building a full-service production entity that specializes in high-end commercial walkthroughs, digital development, and deeply narrative video projects.

What started as a solo venture has evolved into a dedicated multi-disciplinary practice. Whether I’m behind a cinema camera, directing a documentary project, or collaborating on creative branding, my goal is to tell authentic stories and connect people through creativity. Today I continue to thrive on the passion for creativity and am always keeping an open mind on where the universe takes me.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I would say the biggest struggles have been both personal and universal. The loss of my mother and grandmother, in 2022 and 2023 respectively, really made me evaluate what I wanted out of my life and it really cemented my desire to be in business for myself. I think it shined a light on the fact that we don’t have forever and I want to follow my dreams, I want everyone to follow their dreams, so it was obviously a struggle but it was also a guiding factor for me as well.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
As the Owner and Creative Director of Inspire Digital Studios LLC, I operate as a multi-disciplinary digital producer, filmmaker, and designer. I specialize in full-scale commercial video production—including high-end real estate and venue walkthroughs—as well as web development and strategic digital branding, training videos and business promotional videos and drone work.

I also express myself through Photography and have a book featuring abandoned photography and poetry called ” The Abandoned Book: Thoughts x Decay” Available on Amazon. I recently received an honorable mention in the Nicolet college art gallery for one of my photos.

Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
If there’s one piece of advice I could leave for other independent creatives or entrepreneurs starting out, it’s to embrace the messy reality of the learning process. You don’t need to know everything to accomplish things, You just have to be willing to learn and make mistakes. I try to function on the READY, FIRE, AIM philosophy. Shoot first and then learn from what goes wrong. Give yourself permission to experiment and fail. Failure is just learning how to succeed.
I would also just like to emphasize how crucial community is. Find your people, If you are a local business, an independent artist, or someone with a story that needs telling, don’t hesitate to reach out to people and keep an open mind. The digital landscape is always evolving, but relationships are where I have found the most opportunity and satisfaction.
